  1. I'll wait for al the facts to come out before I go full blown SPFD about all this. If true I hope it wasn't his and whomever it was takes the Fall
  2. pretty much what Seth Keysor said whom is a Chiefs Blogger and OBTW a prosecuting Attorney. He had a good interview with Soren Petro yesterday and the bottom line is "what ifs dont count" and what Rice's Attorney said today was almost verbatim what Seth said he would, "Young Kid , nor priors dumb mistake" Seth Keysor is a contributor to The Athletic NFL, serving as a film/data analyst for the Kansas City Chiefs. He previously covered the Chiefs at SB Nation for more than seven years and is a full-time attorney in Minnesota. He has his own substack, "Chief In The North," where he also writes about the Chiefs and the NFL.
  3. Stationed at Frt Sam twice.. always had fun there
  4. me as well but no one else has so his value just may not be there, I seen something a few days ago saying they are talking
  5. had to do some driving yesterday so listened to 810 am. The biggest gripes it seemed where just a few things really. In regards to the Royals it was more of the lack of finalizing a location until the end and the wording allowed for some shady back room deals. For the Chiefs it was more that the renovations did nothing for the common fan. The teams are going no where except maybe Wyandotte County. Maybe then Chiefs would get a roof and a SB. The last minute threats rang hollow and is the go to for every team wanting $$$. I have no dog in this fight anymore and most likely will never go to another Chiefs game in my lifetime so what they do really doesn't matter to me. I dont even acknowledge Baseball so Royals ..meh. San Antonio has always been the threat and to my knowledge never have even put out a proposal.
  6. once again Bil Facts Matter! Willie Gay beat up the vacuum Hunt drop kicked a chic in a hallway then lied to Clark and Andy about it.
  7. agreed and lets not forget that Jackson County property assessment just sky rocketed and people are still pissed about that.> i used to work for Jack Ctny Assessment in a previous life and helped several people get their assessments lowered. It shocked me how much they where over assessed . Times are tough and people are not in the mood
  8. https://www.komu.com/news/state/voters-reject-stadium-tax-for-royals-and-chiefs-leaving-future-in-kc-in-question/article_168c56ff-e263-537f-96af-bcaae89cfff1.html Voters reject stadium tax for Royals and Chiefs, leaving future in KC in question The future of the Royals and Chiefs in Kansas City was thrown into question when residents of Jackson County, Missouri, voted against a sales tax to help to pay for a new downtown ballpark and renovations to Arrowhead Stadium Royals owner John Sherman and Chiefs president Mark Donovan acknowledged long before the final tally that the initiative would fail. More than 58% of voters ultimately rejected the plan, which would have replaced an existing three-eighths of a cent sales tax that has been paying for the upkeep of Truman Sports Complex — the home for more than 50 years to Kauffman and Arrowhead Stadiums — with a similar tax that would have been in place for the next 40 years. The Royals, who had pledged at least $1 billion from ownership for their project, wanted to use their share of the tax revenue to help fund a $2 billion-plus ballpark district. The Super Bowl champion Chiefs, who had committed $300 million in private money, would have used their share as part of an $800 million overhaul of Arrowhead Stadium.
  9. I heard it on the Columbia News so there ya have it..THEY SUCK! but after a quick and easy google search it seems as if the Pole Workers where in the wrong and the issue fixed. Evidently they misunderstood that the Pole Workers themselves where not allowed to wear the swag https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/stadium-plan/voters-allegedly-turned-away-from-voting-after-wearing-royals-chiefs-gear https://www.kctv5.com/2024/04/02/several-kansas-city-voters-wearing-team-logos-turned-away-polls/
  10. seems there are people being turned away from the Poles for wearing Chiefs or Royals swag😆
  11. probably before your time but an old member here Wilkie and my Dad & I unbeknownst to us took the same Metros to Arrowhead Stadium,. There where pick up and drop off spots through out the city, our's was Ward Parkway Shopping center. Those busses where PACKED. I maybe wrong but that all stopped during Carl Peterson when Parking Revenue became part of the equation. I am pretty sure if that option was still available it'd be a popular thing especially at these prices. Your assumption has no factual basis IMO
  12. Facts matter Bil not emotions https://www.statesman.com/story/news/state/2024/04/01/rashee-rice-accident-car-crash-dashcam-video-dallas-texas-kansas-city-chiefs-nfl/73166666007/ "Dallas police said two drivers were treated there for minor injuries and two other people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. "
  13. and they know each other which helps. I think the Gabbert experiment just didn't go the way they had hoped with the "Brady Connection". Gabbert probably wont see another team
  14. good lord.. it's lawyer speak & of course he was there there are pics to prove it
  15. Is not "the Legends"/ Nascar track etc in Wyandotte ctny? during the last refurbish we had our seats taken over by the new indoor area, we ended up with up graded seats but of course we had been season ticket holders since Municipal so maybe that made the difference
