  1. Spags is one year from 2 KC SB defenses.. gonna take more than one bad year for him to get canned..not to mention he was NY-G's DC when they beat the then undefeated Pats in the SB. He has some credibility. That being said I do believe you will see some sacrificial Assistants on both sides of the ball being sacrificed to the Fan Gods
  2. never heard that part best case was a replacement for Hammy. Time will tell but I agree that Pat is doing him no favors
  3. We had that dream and it's over. His time IMO has passed now he's just a lame duck. College maybe? I'll just be happy to see him gone I really thinks he adds very little.
  4. I suppose you could after Season and before the draft..not sure
  5. lets see what that Titans O looks like without the Man Beast running the ball
  6. any ideas? I think that boat has sailed until after season
  7. https://currently.att.yahoo.com/sports/updated-chiefs-2022-nfl-draft-215157813.html Updated Chiefs 2022 NFL draft picks following Melvin Ingram trade he Kansas City Chiefs made pair of trades on Tuesday, but only one involved a trade of draft capital. The team sent a conditional 2022 sixth-round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in return for veteran pass-rusher Melvin Ingram. That means the two teams set certain parameters that make the draft pick non-transferrable in lieu of either another draft pick or no compensation. These are typically attached to playtime, meaning if Ingram plays X number of snaps before the season concludes, the pick will transfer to Pittsburgh. This also is a way that the Chiefs can protect themselves in the event that Ingram suffers an injury. Let’s assume the 2022 sixth-round draft pick transfers to the Steelers, they won’t be getting Kansas City’s sixth-round pick. The Chiefs had traded their sixth-round draft pick to the Minnesota Vikings in the Mike Hughes trade, acquiring a seventh-round draft pick in the process. The sixth-round pick that Kansas City would send to Pittsburgh was acquired from the Baltimore Ravens in the Orlando Brown Jr. trade. With that in mind here is a look at the draft picks that the Chiefs currently hold in the 2022 NFL draft, assuming the conditional pick transfers to the Steelers: Round 1, Pick ?? (No. 18 if the season ended today) Round 2, Pick ?? Round 3, Pick ?? Round 4, Pick ?? Round 7, Pick ?? (via Minnesota) Round 7, Pick ?? As of today, Kansas City has 25 players set to hit free agency following the 2021 NFL season and now they have one fewer draft pick with which to replace those players. This seems to be the sweet spot for Chiefs GM Brett Veach, as he’s selected just six players each year dating back to his first NFL draft running the front office in 2018.
  8. it's closer to Canada and he'll play..not going to the SB this year regardless. I thought his $$ was all guaranteed
  9. yea I saw that too have to think maybe that helped in the Ingram decision
  10. Ingram’s prorated salary will cost Kansas City just $597,222 for the rest of the season. That number is part of the reason that Ingram was so appealing to the Chiefs, as they were in a bit of a cost-prohibitive search at the trade deadline. Even before the trade, they were hard-pressed for cap space, but now they’re going to be up against the cap. According to the NFLPA’s public salary cap report, K.C. had just $1.65 million in salary cap space available ahead of the trade. After the trade to acquire Ingram, Chiefs GM Brett Veach will have just $1.05 million to play with for the remainder of the season.
  11. yea hadn't see a Chief O line man do that in years. that was great!
  12. I think the 3 point win was beneficial as there will be "we have fixed our problem" feelings this week. That being said next week will be FUGLY!
  13. 26 after being ran over buy 300+#s is totally another thing but you do make a valid point about maybe chilling out on all the other extracurricular activities . Airborne school and other training I did in the Military had worn me slick at 23 it almost felt good to be in a hospital bed after my parachuting accident. I can image a game would every bit as punishing and much more and then multiply that but his # of games. Man o man
  14. thats why he's the goat. I have never been to NE while he was the QB so I cant speak for his PR load, That being said he had a defensive genius as coach where Patrick clearly does not.. Even Brady had mediocre years and missed one to.
