  1. everybody wears down, if becomes a trend through next season then you may have a point but regardless of what a body gets paid it can only endure so much and in a way he is forced to do that . It's all part of the package deal
  2. you'd take his spot in a NY second. BUt I agree with EV. Face it this team ( him) have played more games in the last 3 years than anyone else + as was said having a baby in the house now and commercials ,PR requirements of not only being the face of the franchise but of KC as well. He deserves a good rest. We have ac hance for a good solid draft coming up to reload.. look forward to that.
  3. I guess I'm lucky to only have antenna then . I wont have to endure it. I'll wake up to find out who got the W
  4. I dont think you see the point.. SB is in LA it becomes a home game. They are trying to buy a SB much like other teams have done in the past. LA is a brutal market and with the Bolts doing well they have them as competition along with the Lakers etc. With the Cards doing as well as they are they have to make bold moves. Stafford's shelf life is almost over.. the future is now. With the cast of characters around VM he could easily become his old self even if just for another 10-12 games. To be truthful I'm glad the Chiefs are not in the SB hunt as they cant match up to the Cards , Rams or even Packers
  5. I'd be good with Trading HB if he brought a pick we could use to trade up for the Safety out of Notre Dame. Closest thing to Eric Berry that I have seen since EB
  6. I guess you better just jump off the cliff now and don't forget to set your hair on fire for added effect. Yea this year is not going as we had hoped but I think it as growing pains even the longest of dynasties have down years to reload
  7. I think this a comfortable victory where the problems are forgotten about for at least a week only to show the ugly head of reality against ARog and the Peckers.
  8. Rams are committed to pull a Buccaneer play the Super Bowl at home trick..it worked for the Buccs so why not go for broke. Gutsy move!
  9. I'm not so sure abut that. Sometimes it's the scheme, sometimes the coach or maybe just the guys around you that can turn a player around. Its a low risk venture so why not?
  10. at 3-3 and in their division I'd say they are better off now than the Chiefs in regards to being a wild card team. IIRC they are playing the Browns with no Mayfield and is not Chubb hurt as well?
  11. According to NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala, the Chiefs have already made an offer for Ingram, but the Steelers have not been so keen as to accept the offer. They’d prefer to send Ingram to a team that isn’t in the AFC conference.
  12. sum ya all act as if it were a dun deal.. stand back from the edge of the cliff...good grief
  13. I disagree I don't see 1 player and certainly not this player as the answer..let the chips fall where they may and reload for next year
  14. he's not the answer. Trading for him would be pure desperation
  15. now one would have to think it may be, that being said he has to know he's going to get released after this season and you'd think he'd want to improve his resume for his next employer orrrr he's just going to take the $$ and say F it
  16. ok before this thread goes down the tragedy or not Rabbit hole lets stay on topic please. my 2 cents: Britt Reid's situation has 0 to do with the Chiefs bad play
  17. there is no evidence one way or another that Houston had any interest in coming here..Ingram on the the other hand musta just wanted too much $$ for that time
