  1. I think it has more to do with comfort between MVPat and Tyreek, Kelce etc thats just who he looks for. There have been multiple clips of him over looking other wide open options in favor of #10 or #87
  2. IIRC the trades were for not much..I'm not up on what WM has left in the tank but I'd wager 6th would do it and worth it if Spags n company thought he would bring real value but then I'm not sure what this means either as far as salary cap https://overthecap.com/player/whitney-mercilus/1692/ Age: 31 Free Agency: 2022 (Void) Accrued Seasons: 9 Height: 6'4" Weight: 258 College: Illinois Entry: 2012 Draft, Round 1, #26 overall (Texans) 2021 Salary Cap Charge: $8,617,647 (4.45% of cap) 2021 Cash Payout: $10,500,000 (6.04% of spending) 2021 Cash to Cap Ratio: 1.22 Contract Value: $54,000,000 ($13,500,000 APY) Fully Guaranteed Money: $18,000,000 Contract Ranking: 22/213 at EDGE 2021 OTC Valuation: $4,108,000 Current Contract (Extension, signed 2019) (📝: indicates contract trigger occuring during that year) Year Age Base Salary Prorated Bonus Roster Bonus Per Game Roster Bonus Guaranteed Salary Cap Number Cap % Dead Money & Cap Savings Cut (pre-June 1)Cut (post-June 1)Trade (pre-June 1)Trade (post-June 1)RestructureExtension Total $20,750,000 $14,550,000 $617,647 $500,000 $15,000,000 $36,417,647 2019 29 $5,750,000 $2,550,000 $0 $500,000 $0 $8,800,000 4.2% 2020 📝 30 $10,500,000 $1,500,000 $0 $0 $10,500,000 $12,000,000 5.5% 2021 31 $4,500,000 $3,500,000 $617,647 $0 $4,500,000 $8,617,647 4.4% $15,000,000 ($6,382,353) 2022 📝 32 Void $3,500,000 Void Void Void $7,000,000 3.2% $7,000,000 $0 2023 33 Void $3,500,000 Void Void Void $0 0.0% $3,500,000 ($3,500,000) Contract Notes On March 24, 2021 Houston converted $6 million of Mercilus' base salary to signing bonus per report from Field Yates, the move generated $4 million in cap savings. 3. I dont have the game recorded but I do believe he lost traction but this wont be settled until there is film available so until then we will have to disagree here ya go quality sucks but as he makes his cut to the side line he slips https://www.nfl.com/videos/tyreek-hill-s-drop-turns-into-interception-for-second-straight-game
  4. the guy makes national news for being a baffoon and getting banned from Arrowhead and he the balls to go to other stadiums now. I saw a quick flash of him on TV and just had to SMH.
  5. He played.. Maybe MVPat just has yet figured out that 19 running around is actually a WR
  6. yea but he slipped making a cut..yea he shoulda had it but no slip no INT..now last weeks deflection INT was on Hill. It certainly is disheartening but I also agree with the announcers when they commented on that in years past those INTs woulda been dropped by the DB.. this year no such luck.
  7. I did a quick search and no violence towards his wife or anyone else in that instance could be found.
  8. Was Naing soobad he deserved benching? I know he struggled in the pass game but I thought his run blocking was decent enough
  9. seen it coming. After acoach or anybody for that matter gets a vote of confidence from their boss it usually comes with replacement. I just hope Thornhill is not a lateral move
  10. Yea AFC Hardman is starting to look more and more like a #2..pleasantly surprised. altho I agree with much of what Arthur has to say much of it at this time is unrealistic ie Clarks contract.. there aint a muthrfukn thing the Chiefs can do this season. Hopefully a running game can become more of a threat with the O-Line jelling more and more and a different cast of characters not initialed CEH lastly I think predicting a 14th pick is over the top..low/mid 20's? not soo far fetched
  11. Spags standing up for the guy not throwing him under the bus in public is admirable but the film does not lie nor do the results. I think we'll be seeing Thornhill play a lot more very soon but what if he becomes Dirty Dan 2.0?
  12. He's definitely not playing instinctual that is plain to see I remember way back when Gunther tried to have DT play a "Falcon?" Lb spot? He sucked but got better when just allowed to get after the QB..same thing applies here I think
  13. As much as I agree with this can you imagine the outcry of spending another first ( which it would undoubtedly take to get a first game starter) on a LT? If the Chiefs dot go whole hog on Defense this next draft I might just set all 3 hairs I have left on my head on fire.
  14. interesting question.. I guess it depends on what the definition of "fold" is?
  15. INTts certainly distracts ..and shuvel passes hardly qualify but yea
