  1. the year I went the Chiefs traded down..real buzz kill never went to another
  2. I agree altho not sure I would use the word "dominate" but I would say serviceable C+/B- type
  3. you are the one said he got jobbed and was dumb... not me
  4. I guess just hope the Titans suck next year
  5. is it a done deal? I just read an article that said the contract talks have hit a wall and it was written yesterday afternoon and the next article surmised it a done deal. Regardless Luvhouse is dumber than Veach
  6. yea but he'll be 30 in Oct what kind of extension and for how much is he really worth? Goff is one of those QBs ya just never know what your going to get from year to year but so far so good with the Lions. seems he's a $32M cap hit next season
  7. if they offered a 3rd it'd be better than a 3rd comp next year and not in our division so those are the positives, looking at Suttons contract he's bout a $10M a year guy and not sure what pert of that will still go against Detroit's Cap. Can they afford him would be my question?
  8. I'm beginning to think Sneed's success is because his ( and other's) success is a sum of all it's parts and Spags. Spags seemed to be ok with Sneed and his in Nov being the most penalized defensive player in football, It was the cost of being aggressive..other D coordinators maybe not so much ..34 days until draft
  9. Detroit might be back in the mrkt. seems their #1 CB is a wanted man Florida investigators are looking for a Detroit Lions cornerback accused of domestic battery by strangulation Detroit Lions cornerback Cam Sutton is wanted in Florida for an alleged domestic battery by strangulation, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said Wednesday it had attempted to contact Sutton for two weeks before it turned to social media to ask for help finding the 29-year-old, who has homes in Lutz, about 15 miles north of Tampa, and Pinellas County
  10. I may of misheard but I do believe Hollyweird said during his presser that he lived in Texas so that's convenient
  11. and to your point https://heavy.com/sports/kansas-city-chiefs/ljarius-sneed-knee-injury-red-flags/
  12. not to be argumentative but it would seem to me they are comfortable paying 1year $19+M so my gut saying the length is an issue. it's also my hunch that Snead and his agents listened to too many of the talking heads after Season saying Snead was going to have a Brinks Truck backed up to his house.. That truck broke down IMO His agents are probably trying to use the CJ strategy I dont see Veach falling for that twice, Sneed is no CJ.. Pigs get fat Hogs get slaughtered
  13. Do they have to know? according to the Tweet no team has offered a 2nd rnd pick either..maybe both players in this drama are unsatisfied and JMO just maybe the Chiefs are counting on that physical to make a call on their end on how to proceed and maybe the other teams are as well?
  14. agreed but there is not much difference between #1 and the Tag$.. Are the top 5 CBs someone(s) we'd rather have? I dunno. This Defense I believe is a sum of all it's parts and I have no problem having Snead play on the tag. and yes this may very well l turn out to be a CJ situation..but it' shard to see Snead having a year like CJ did and Then the Chiefs may just have to wave goodbye
  15. 152 total receiving yrds last year..seems the Phins are looking as well
  16. Roger That..my mug shot would have me with 2 black eyes and an Ice Pak on my Oysters and that's if I was lucky
  17. Would I be upset? I dont know enough about Mims to form an opinion but that sure is a lot of draft capital to move up for a player not a QB. 40 days from now I suppose we'll have our answer
  18. scouting report https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10069066-wanya-morris-nfl-draft-2023-scouting-report-for-oklahoma-ot — Originally committed to and played for Tennessee, starting 19 total games: 17 at left tackle and two as a blocking tight end in the team's jumbo package. — 27 career starts spread out across left tackle (17), right tackle (eight) and extra tight end (two).
  19. but then there is this https://www.si.com/college/oklahoma/football/sitting-out-oklahoma-ot-wanya-morris-was-able-to-learn-a-lot-about-myself Morris won the starting job on the right side of the line,
  20. I dont remember but LT according to this https://www.si.com/college/oklahoma/football/wanya-morris-finally-at-oklahoma-impressing-coaches-by-asking-a-lot-of-questions Morris is widely projected to start at left tackle in his first season with the Sooners — that’s what he did for two years at Tennessee, earning a spot on the Freshman All-SEC Team and the 247 Sports True Freshman All-America Team in 2019, and earning preseason All-SEC accolades in 2020.
  21. it's not as if Morris is just some late rnd pick to be poo poo'd away The Chiefs spent a 3rd rnd pick on him and he played for Oklahoma so there is a reason for that
  22. Morris seems to be the guy for now and I'm not mad about that he seemed to be decent enough and with a dedicated off season he may really be be solid https://atozsports.com/kansas-city/chiefs-wanya-morris-future-at-left-tackle-roster-plans-2024-nfl-draft/ The Kansas City Chiefs appear to have made a massive discovery that will surely help the team's long-term plans at one of the most important positions in football.
  23. Jody Fortson — agreed to a contract with the Dolphins on Thursday —
  24. assuming Veach wants a FA LT. That is our infatuation it may not be Reid/Veach's and Morris just may be the guy until proven different. I'm not seeing one available that makes me want to rush things.. they'll be around for awhile IMO
