  1. 3seasons into his career and talking about whether MVPat shoulda started his first day..damn times are slow
  2. After being released during 53-man roster cuts, a veteran receiver is back with the Kansas City Chiefs. According to the NFL’s official transaction wire, the Chiefs have re-signed WR Marcus Kemp to the 53-man roster. The former 2017 undrafted free agent proved his value on both offense and special teams yet again this offseason, which made his release a bit of a surprise. Chiefs GM Brett Veach spilled the beans to reporters that Kemp would be back on the active roster today, citing the move as purely procedural. As a vested veteran, Kemp was not subject to waivers, which allowed the team to not risk losing him while they sorted out other situations on the roster. “He’ll be back,” Veach told reporters of Kemp on Wednesday. “He’ll be back. I would anticipate him being back on the active roster, and we’ll have a corresponding move at a certain time here. We have some different areas to do different things, but I’d expect it’s safe to say that Marcus Kemp will be back here and be ready to contribute, hopefully by Week 1.” The corresponding move, at least for the time being, was Tyrann Mathieu’s placement on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. His placement on the list temporarily clears a spot for Kemp. When Mathieu returns to the 53-man roster, the Chiefs will have to make another move in order to keep Kemp around. Kemp’s return means the Chiefs will carry six receivers on the 53-man roster for the time being. That could always change in the future, should the team face injuries and a roster crunch at another position.
  3. to even consider him.. I assume thats why you posted the link
  4. 1 good reason? A 2015 first-round draft pick of the Ravens, Perriman has never lived up to expectations in the NFL. He played only 27 games before he was released by Baltimore, and has had even shorter stints in Washington, Cleveland, Tampa Bay and with the Jets. Now his short stint in Detroit
  5. I dont pick what games we win or lose but will say 12-5, 3rd seed because of a loss tie breaker
  6. WR Antonio Callaway, WR Chad Williams and TE Evan Baylis were all waived with injury designations during the Chiefs’ first round of roster cuts. They all cleared waivers and as a result, reverted to injured reserve. RB Elijah McGuire was placed on injured reserve outright during the first wave of roster cuts. All four players reached injury settlements with the Chiefs on Thursday, taking a payout instead of staying on injured reserve. Williams and McGuire are vested, meaning they hit free agency immediately. Callaway and Baylis will need to clear waivers before they’re able to sign with another NFL club. This doesn’t necessarily mean that this is the last we’ll see of these players in Kansas City, though. When you agree to an injury settlement you can still re-sign with that team, but only after the period of time covered by the settlement, plus six weeks. For example, if the settlement between the Chiefs and Antonio Callaway pays him two game checks, he can re-sign after eight weeks. This happened with the Chiefs and WR Gehrig Dieter last season. The veteran wideout took an injury settlement due to a back injury and later rejoined the team, signing with the practice squad during the regular season. He was eventually elevated to the 53-man roster too.
