  1. IIRC the last time the Chiefs wore a Texans helmet they lost..no thanks
  2. @Lamardirtsyes but who do you cut for the roster spot
  3. its apparent they just cant let him go without a Clause but being this is his 3rd Felony arrest..yes 3rd they might have an out Back in 2019, Clark signed a five-year, $104 million contract with the Chiefs after he was traded off the Seattle Seahawks. If the Chiefs were to release Clark, they would take on a dead cap hit of nearly $25 million for this season and $12.9 million for next season, per Spotrac. While Clark does have two years remaining on his deal, he also has a potential out at the conclusion of this upcoming season. looks like a real piece of work https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/chiefs-frank-clark-charged-with-third-felony-in-decade/ar-AALjLmJ Chiefs star edge-rusher Frank Clark was charged with felony illegal firearm possession after police discovered an Uzi tucked away in a duffel bag in Clark’s SUV during a “routine traffic stop” in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, this latest infraction by Clark is just another in a long line of criminal behaviors from the 2020 Super Bowl champion. Most recently, Clark was arrested in March of this year on another felony gun charge when California Highway Patrol recovered two loaded firearms from Clark’s car. Much like his arrest yesterday, Clark was released on bail less than 24 hours after being charged. However, the felony gun charges are just the tip of the iceberg for Clark. While still attending the University of Michigan in 2014, he was charged with domestic violence and assault after an altercation with his then-girlfriend at a hotel in Sandusky, Ohio. Clark was dismissed from the Michigan football team after this incident. According to witness reports, Clark’s girlfriend’s brothers came out of the room screaming that Clark was “killing our sister.” Other witnesses reported seeing the girl unconscious on the ground while Clark screamed at onlookers. Clark claims that he never touched his girlfriend, but reports indicate that the woman had bruise marks on her cheek and red marks on her neck. Clark’s charge was reduced to fourth-degree disorderly conduct, with Clark completing a 25-week domestic violence course. Just two years prior, while still attending the University of Michigan, Clark pleaded guilty to a felony charge of second-degree home invasion after stealing a MacBook Air from a dorm room across the hall from him. Clark faced a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $3,000 fine, but the charge was ultimately expunged under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act, which offers first-time offenders a chance to keep their criminal record clean as long as they complete probation. Clark was given a one-game suspension from the Michigan football team.
  4. https://news.yahoo.com/nfl-reviewing-frank-clark-gun-172250440.html Sunday’s arrest Clark was pulled over for an alleged vehicle code violation near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles, which is south of downtown, LAPD spokesman Tony Im said. During the stop, officers observed an Uzi firearm sticking out of a bag in Clark’s car, Im said. Clark was subsequently arrested at 9:20 p.m. Pacific Time for having a concealed firearm in a vehicle, a felony charge under California law, Im said. Clark was booked into county jail before being released at 2:30 p.m. P.T. Monday afternoon on $35,000 bond, according to a spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. Clark has a court date scheduled for Oct. 18, sheriff’s department records show. March arrest At 11:45 p.m. Pacific Time on March 12, Clark and Charles Phillip Smith were pulled over on 223rd Street in West Carson, California, for failing to display a front license plate, according to an arrest report from the California Highway Patrol. Neither the CHP report nor a department spokesperson specified whether Clark or Smith was driving the vehicle, a 1993 Toyota Supra. During the stop, officers “observed, in plain sight, what appeared to be the muzzle of a firearm within a bag in the back seat of the vehicle,” according to the report. The officers detained Clark and Smith before searching the vehicle, at which point the officers recovered two loaded firearms — one handgun and one rifle — the report said. Clark was arrested at 12:11 a.m. March 13 under the same felony charge as the one he allegedly violated Sunday — having a concealed firearm in a vehicle — according to the report.
  5. you know the rules Bil..no link never happened. beside dont have to be full auto to be a felony..most links say felony https://sports.yahoo.com/frank-clark-arrested-felony-illegal-220307174.html https://sports.yahoo.com/report-chiefs-frank-clark-arrested-004937079.html https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/sports/report-chiefs-frank-clark-arrested-felony-weapons-charge-2021-06-22/ yad yada yada
  6. I think Jones playing some DE was a no brainer and had nothing to do with Clarks previous arrest
  7. ok but cutting 1 player to replace with 2 some other position will have to take the hit..or you cutting Taco?
  8. I see your logic but without knowing Houston or Ingram's salary demands your last 4 words are just an assumption. From what I could gather Ingram left the Chief's facility empty handed because of his salary demands, now if your assuming the Chiefs release Clark will have $$ to spend I'm not thinking they should pay Ingram the extra $$ just because they have it.. that is not sound economics.
  9. If the Chiefs decide on action of their own it should be semi quickly I'd assume. That being said why would a C+ to B- graded player regardless of contract need "security" in which thy would need a UZI for God's sake? Even if a semi and used for shock appeal why Security? I mean Patrick doesn't have armed security that we know of. That statement alone IF TRUE makes me have to wonder about his character.
  10. ingram?? really?? why? he's old and broken down
  11. links are always helpful. Houston may have "Hand" if the Chiefs are thinking Clark maybe be suspended for any length of time
  12. Good post App Chief and for the record Hands has been suspended more than once so it is not as if he is untouchable.
  13. altho I agree with the overpaid errr over rated I think he will have a better year with this supporting cast but he'll be no All Pro like he is paid to be
  14. Bring him. We have had few discussions in regards to his return. The Colts certainly have shown with their first 2 picks they dont want him back. One theory is whenhe left the Chiefs he left with a grudge. I for one am not that sure and could not find anything to back it up. He had a fine year last year but maybe his salary demands are too high. To me if the price is right he's a no brainer.
  15. Anyone who thought Chiefs head coach Andy Reid would return fire against Le'Veon Bell will be disappointed. Bell recently said that he’d retire rather than play for Reid again and followed that up to say that he has a “personal problem with dude because of what he said to me” when Bell played for the Chiefs last season. Bell didn’t divulge what Reid said to him and Reid didn’t have anything negative to say about Bell when asked about the running back on Thursday. “I enjoyed my time with him. I’m pulling for him. That’s how I roll. I wish him the best,” Reid said, via Herbie Teope of the Kansas City Star. There hasn’t appeared to be any interest from the Chiefs in bringing Bell back this season, so Bell’s vow is unlikely to ever be put to the test. There hasn’t been any sign of interest from any other teams either and Bell’s retirement may come via acknowledgement rather than announcement if that continues.
  16. but he is not earning his $$ he's being paid to be much more than he is..hopefully with Reed in and Jones playing DE sometimes that'll help
