  1. UPDATE: NFL reporter Tom Pelissero has news that offensive lineman Kyle Long is believed to have suffered a fractured kneecap and could miss training camp for the K.C. Chiefs.
  2. A source told The Kansas City Star’s Sam McDowell that the Week 1 timeline is “probably wishful thinking,” but not entirely out of the question yet. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, head coach Andy Reid confirmed that the injury doesn’t appear to have impacted any of Long’s major ligaments, but there’s still a “chance he has to have surgery,” per McDowell.
  3. The Kansas City Chiefs have officially signed their final restricted free agent. According to reporting from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Chiefs fourth-year CB Charvarius Ward has officially signed his restricted free agent contract tender. Ward was tendered at the second-round level this offseason, which means that he’ll earn $3.384 million in 2021 with Kansas City. The Chiefs originally added Ward in 2018 in a trade sending Parker Ehinger to the Dallas Cowboys. It was criticized at the time, but Ward has developed into a solid piece for Kansas City. He was a starter opposite Bashaud Breeland in each of the past two seasons and he’s primed for a breakout during a contract year.
  4. I guess we need LDT even more than we did..f'n typical
  5. too steep for my blood Tits are going all in. Thank God tho I was sick of this thread..who ya going to trade Hardiman now for Balto? lol https://www.foxnews.com/sports/titans-acquire-julio-jones-falcons-blockbuster-trade Former All-Pro wideout Julio Jones has found a new home -- he’s heading to Tennessee. The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to trade Jones to the Titans in exchange for a 2022 second-round pick, NFL Network reported. The Falcons will also get Tennessee's fourth-round pick in 2023, and they will ship their sixth-round pick in 2023 to the Titans. t made sense for the Falcons to move on from the 32-year-old wide receiver, however, since they have a superstar in the making at wideout in Calvin Ridley. And with the No. 4 overall pick, the Falcons took Florida tight end Kyle Pitts to bolster their offensive skill positions for quarterback Matt Ryan. Jones signed a three-year, $66 million contract before the start of the 2019 season. He is expected to be a $23 million cap hit in 2021, according to Spotrac.
  6. I se know where the Falcons would take an unconditional 2nd rounder
  7. https://currently.att.yahoo.com/sports/tyrann-mathieu-negotiating-contract-tough-125236391.html A couple of weeks ago, safety Tyrann Mathieu replied to a tweet asking if he was going to sign an extension with the Chiefs by saying, “Probably not. Been here before. All good.” But he then deleted the post. So when Mathieu addressed the media for the first time since expressing his pessimism something would get done, Mathieu was naturally asked about it. “I think, first off, I delete a lot of tweets,” Mathieu said Thursday, via Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star. “If I’m a fan, I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on that. “I think people that know me, they know where my heart is at. I can’t control everything. So for me, it’s just all about just trying my best to kind of focus on the things I can control. That’s just coming to work every day trying to make the dudes around me better.” Mathieu has certainly made the Chiefs’ defense better since his arrival in 2019, helping power the team to a Super Bowl victory and another Super Bowl appearance. But the three-year, $42 million deal he signed as a free agent will be up after the 2021 season. While Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach said last month that he expected potential extension talks with Mathieu to pick up later this summer, it’s not always easy to wait. “I think the negotiation process, I think it’s tough on anybody, especially the player,” Mathieu said. “But like I said, I try not to focus on it too much. I think I’m a fairly optimistic guy. I try my best to look out the bright side of the window. “This is my third franchise. I understand the business. I’m grown enough to understand it. I think I’m mature enough to understand it. But I’m also mature enough to understand there’s still a lot of work that I gotta put in, [and] that needs to be put it, and just let God handle everything else.” Mathieu has recorded 10 interceptions, 21 passes defensed, and 2.0 sacks in two seasons with Kansas City. A third-round pick in the 2013 draft, He has 23 career interceptions across eight seasons with Arizona, Houston, and Kansas City. 8. As much as I agree in spirit to your thoughts .. there is always the collateral damage to the innocents around you. Everyone needs to make their own decision in that regards. Personally if I had any notoriety other than being a legend in my own mind and here. you'd not see me on twatter or Tok Tik..but then I have a flipphone so there ya are

  10. I would concur with that but people are in no win situations if you just have the slightest bit of notoriety. Example 16yo County singer on American Idol..really good got booted off the show after he was down to the last few finalist because some SM post came up that was a few years old with a friend of his wearing what I guess was taken as a KKK hood. Fn he might a been 14 at the time? JFC!
