    so really the only rush for the Chiefs is to secure a Draft Pick(s) this year Snead seems to hold the cards right now and is in a win win situation

    yea ok I was just trying to figure things out and admitted l am ignorant to this stuff but by putting the non exclusive tag on him that allows Snead to negotiate a trade AND his contract with the new team so it maybe not so much Veach's asking price but Snead's desires for a longer contract than teams are willing to give?

    there maybe talks with Snead for multiple years and Veach does his Cap Magic, so until the Snead picture is clear we really don't know what our cap #s are..IMO. curious since we have so few pics and multiple 5th rndrs what we need to be able to afford the draft class?

    In regards to Snead it seems logical to think AFC teams dont want to give much up in draft capital, they know what Veach could do with those picks. the $19M seems doable with not much suffering now but hopefully it's for a few years so Veach can do his Cap Magic

    yea it was 3 year $30M for MVS. but would Hollyweird play for $11-12M? not unless there where no better offers I'd say

    yea so far with the exception of Gay it looks as if they are trying to keep the Band together and I for one dont think that's such a bad thing. It relieves having to focus too much on the draft & get a FA or 2 for depth. They got a hell of a mojo playing together...Ride the wave

    ok well for the record I'm not part of the We's. I'm not pining for a vet WR altho I do except a middle of the road wr to be picked up in the next few days. Just my Gut feeling is that Veach may ride this Defensive juggernaut one more year and let to offense decide who they'll be as the season progresses. Next year maybe much like last year.
