  1. I read something in regards to Chiefs but is he a 1rst rnd talent??
  2. being that his short list appears to be Bills, Packers and Titans who are "contenders" it appears he can have his cake and eat it too.
  3. and that could be problematic with his legal problems
  4. As the J.J. Watt free agency fun closes in on two weeks, we’ve now gotten our first word on potentially how much the defender could fetch on the open market after being released by the Texans. According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, it’s a pretty solid number. Reportedly the three-time Defensive Player of the Year has received offers near $15-16 million per year: While 31, Watt still has been productive in the very recent past. Pro Football Focus graded him as the NFL’s seventh best pass rusher in 2020. Considering that and his accolades, it comes as no surprise that Watt has several suitors in on him and that he may carry a nice price tag despite his age. The Bills and Watt have reportedly been said to have a level of mutual interest. In addition, his top-three landing spots were pegged on Wednesday and those were said to be the Packers, Titans or Bills.
  5. this could hurt the Von Miller dream Von Miller's criminal investigation is complete, now in Douglas County D.A.'s hands George Stoia, The Gazette (Colorado Springs, Colo.) Tribune Publishing Tue, February 23, 2021, 10:51 PM Feb. 23—A criminal investigation involving Broncos star outside linebacker Von Miller was complete and under review by the Douglas County District Attorney's Office, Parker police said Tuesday. "The Parker Police Department has provided the results of its extensive investigation into the allegations against Von Miller to the 18th Judicial District, District Attorney's Office for review," the agency said in a statement. Police and prosecutors didn't say when a decision on whether Miller should be charged would be made and released no details of the probe. "A charging decision has not been made," Douglas County D.A. spokeswoman Vikki Migoya told The Gazette in a statement Tuesday. "There is no filed case and no further information is available at this time." It was first reported that the eight-time Pro Bowl selectee and former Super Bowl MVP was under investigation Jan. 15, but police haven't said why Miller drew their attention. Miller, 31, missed the 2020 season due to an ankle injury he suffered prior to the season. He is set to enter the final year of his contract.
  6. I had another comparison centered in DC but yea that too lol
  7. that is what's called an "inconvenient truth"
  8. no one is but his statement a couple of Weeks Back sure wasn't inspiring
  9. I'd think if Jason and Tavis have already discussed him coming here and it is hard to think it hasn't happened and Jason wants to come Trav is doing the hard sell to Andy and IF Jason is coming it wont be long into FA when it happens. Jason IMO will either retire or be a Chief I just cant see it happen any other way
  10. here's one https://heavy.com/sports/philadelphia-eagles/jason-kelce-rumor/ & here's vague USA article about the many Eagles that may be released seems the cap savings are different https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/eagles/2021/02/16/carson-wentz-wont-be-only-eagles-veteran-traded-or-released/6761796002/ Jason Kelce, center This decision will likely be entirely up to Kelce, given his continued high level of play last season, when he was selected to the Pro Bowl, and his revered status on the team. Kelce has contemplated retirement over the last few seasons before deciding to return. It's likely that he'll think about it again this offseason. This time, there might be more reasons to go through with it. For one, the Eagles are clearly on a youth movement with a new head coach. Secondly, Kelce is 33 and has played through several injuries the past few seasons. If Kelce retires, the Eagles could restructure his contract to the league minimum (as long as the retirement isn't official until after June 1) while making up the difference in 2022. That would save about $4.3 million this season. The Saints are doing this with quarterback Drew Brees for example, before making his retirement official after June 1. If Kelce returns for an 11th season, the Eagles would likely try to restructure anyway, as he has an $8.4 million cap hit in 2021. As for center, the Eagles could try left guard Isaac Seumalo, right guard Nate Herbig or Luke Juriga, an undrafted free agent last season who got in for some snaps. Cap savings: About $4.3 million.
  11. it would be nice if links were provided for context but I have been guilty of not always providing links so I'm in no position to lecture
  12. ^^^^^ a 1000x's yes but oddly enough it seemed he had seriously contemplated Retirement so I wonder if the Eagles just decided to beat him to the punch
  13. without getting in the weeds on this that very well may of been JH's perception whether it was real or not I really dont know. What I do know is that his and EB's contracts really put the screws to the Chiefs..not that I'm blaming them but they laughed all the way to the bank for minimal play time
  14. I always considered Soren to be one of the more reliable and even headed of all the KC Sports Jocs.. He and Grunny seem to get along real good and I am sure much of his info comes from him..but to each his own
  15. good point..just seemed in the few games I saw of the Colts he was more of a Clark than the old school Houston I was used to seeing
  16. actually I kinda wish he'd just step back from wanting to be a starter and come back to KC as the #2 QB..certainly would extend his career
  17. Von Miller in a heart beat .. Houston is out of gas and any more talk of Watt coming to KC is just Beaver Cleaver dreaming. It seems that the Browns are favored
  18. seems the Browns have his interest and thats what counts
