  1. how so? Who would want to give a decent draft pick up and swallow $12M 1 year contract for a questionable product?
  2. Dr. Matt Provencher, FOX Sports’ athlete injury and performance analyst, also speculated that Fisher would miss Super Bowl LV and likely return to football activities toward the end of training camp later this summer. With a typical recovery timetable of six to seven months, that puts the former No. 1 overall pick on track for a comeback around August.
  3. We’re still over a week away before the Kansas City Chiefs take the field in Super Bowl LV and there is promising news regarding two injuries Kansas City has dealt with throughout the playoffs. According to a report from ESPN’s Dianna Russini, Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins and RB Le’Veon Bell are both expected to be ready to play in the Super Bowl. Watkins missed both the divisional-round game against the Cleveland Browns and the AFC title game against the Buffalo Bills. Bell was only absent from the Bills game this past Sunday. Watkins has been dealing with a calf injury that he suffered during practice back in Week 11. It came on the heels of a hamstring injury that Watkins was recovering from and kept him out an extra week. He reaggravated the injury in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons and has been out ever since. Bell is dealing with swelling in his knee that popped up during the past week of practice. He missed the final two days of practice ahead of the AFC title game and was subsequently ruled out. Getting Watkins back on the field is a big deal for the Chiefs. He’s earned the nickname of “Playoff Sammy” because of his performances in each of the past two postseasons for Kansas City. Watkins has combined for 24 catches for 464 yards and one touchdown in five postseason appearances with the Chiefs. When teams try and take away Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, it’s always Watkins who has come up big. His heroics in Super Bowl LIV stand out, like his play against Richard Sherman on a long catch late in the fourth quarter. It helped Kansas City to a comeback win and their first Super Bowl title in 50 seasons. In addition to the news on Watkins and Bell, Russini reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers expect to get back Antonio Brown and Antoine Winfield, who both missed the NFC title game with injuries.
  4. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, no matter who the Houston Texans hire as their fourth full-time coach in team history, Watson is still expected to want out of Houston. The Texans have two coaching candidates narrowed down in Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, both of whom square off against one another in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium. If the ESPN report is true, the Texans could hire Bieniemy, who Watson favors, and he would still want to leave the organization because of the friction that began after the hiring of Nick Caserio as general manager.
  5. I dont know I'm guessing but I am sure Andy and Co would value your opinion.. get back with us after he responds to you

  8. FIFY I'm not big on EF and I'm not whoopdee doo on PFF either but some might consider EF a "Stud LT" Eric Fisher played 1048 offensive snaps this season, and allowed just three sacks all year. Fisher was only penalized three times in 2020. Eric Fisher graded out as one of the best offensive tackles in football this year, according to Pro Football Focus. A 80.0 overall grade and strong pass (76.2) and run (72.7) blocking grades
  9. LJ8 wont sniff a Patrick contract and neither will Mayfield..too early to put Burrows, Tua, Lawerence in that conversation
  10. the Raiders were much better team so that hurt us and the Chargers were no slouch either.. I'd say the AFLWest was a much more competitive division as compared to now.
  11. being that Trent Williams was at $12M this year and at an injured 32 yo ..hard pressed to see him getting that or any more unless a team is desperate. Chiefs aren't desperate
  12. so with this in mind how would the Chiefs afford him?
  13. with the new rules the Chiefs can only go 2 days before the game
  14. Report: Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes wearing special orthotic for turf toe injury Charles Goldman January 24, 2021 2:02 pm Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will battle through turf toe in the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills. He suffered the injury during the divisional playoff win against the Cleveland Browns, but it was largely overshadowed by him entering the NFL’s concussion protocol. A new report from FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer has some new information on how the Chiefs are planning to protect Mahomes from worsening his toe injury during the game. Glazer dismissed the concussion issue as a non-factor heading into the AFC title game but said the team is “very concerned about” Mahomes’ toe. According to Glazer, Mahomes’ left shoe will be equipped with a special carbon fiber orthotic that they’re hoping will protect the toe from further injury. This could cause some problems when it comes to his mobility, though. Carbon fiber is very rigid and doesn’t allow for the flexibility necessary for certain things. He could even have some trouble planting the foot and pushing off. Check out the report from Glazer below, with some more information on the concussion situation as well: It’s beginning to look like this toe injury is a little bit worse than initially let on by the team. Only time will tell whether it impacts Mahomes during the game. He could be dealing with limited mobility and a day throwing from the pocket or he could gut it out and look like his normal self out there. Let’s hope for the latter.
  15. I got my bottle of THC infused Tincture drops by my side
  16. Charles Goldman January 24, 2021 9:26 am A footnote from the aftermath of the Kansas City Chiefs’ divisional-round win over the Cleveland Browns was a toe injury suffered by QB Patrick Mahomes. This happened prior to his exit from the game via the NFL’s concussion protocol. He’s spent the entire week of practice listed with the toe injury on the team’s injury report but carried no game status heading into the AFC title game. He still might not be 100%, though. According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Mahomes has been diagnosed with “turf toe,” which is a fairly common football injury involving the plantar plate and ligaments in the big toe. Mahomes is dealing with this issue in his left foot, but it doesn’t appear to be as severe as it possibly could be. This can be a super painful injury and depending on the severity, it can even sideline players or require surgery. According to Rapoport, the injury did “limit his effectiveness” during the practice week, but he also took almost all of the first-team practice repetitions for Kansas City. The Chiefs’ practices this week were on the lighter side in general as they tend to be this time of year. Rapoport described them as a “slew of walkthroughs.” Rapoport says that Mahomes will be reevaluated in the offseason for surgery, but there isn’t a belief that the injury currently needs it. That’s a good sign, but these injuries can also flare up and intensify at any time. It’ll be worth monitoring during the game. “It’s feeling a lot better,” Mahomes said of his toe on Friday. “I mean the next day it was very sore and then every single day since then it has gotten a lot better. It’s stuff you deal with being a football player, you deal with injures and luckily enough for me, this wasn’t as bad as it looked and felt the day of and the day after.” Mahomes says the injury won’t be an issue and there’s a video from the practice week to support that theory. Even if Mahomes is feeling the injury, he’s been effective while dealing with injuries to his lower body in the past. Mahomes suffered an ankle sprain in Week 1 of the 2019 season. The following week he played through the injury and threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns
