  1. Eric Bieniemy may not end up with head coaching job again? January 10, 2021 by Grey Papke Nearly every NFL team with a head coaching vacancy wanted to talk to Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. In spite of this, the process may end with Bieniemy staying right where he is. According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, there is a sense that Bieniemy could be passed over for head coaching positions, just as he was last offseason. The fact that Bieniemy cannot be hired until the Chiefs’ playoff run has concluded is a factor working against him. If the Chiefs were to reach the Super Bowl again, any team wanting to hire Bieniemy may have to wait another month to install him as head coach. That’s valuable prep and evaluation time lost. A source also told Florio that Bieniemy is being picky about his career choices. He has reportedly privately said that he will remain with Kansas City until the perfect job opportunity comes along. There are reports that Bieniemy has a strong preference for one team in the hiring process. NFL rules may be working against him, in spite of the fact that five teams have sought to interview him.
  2. meh. More of a self motivational tool in my eyes ..but he did run with a passion as if he were wanting to get to KC to show us up, cant discount his talent and between him and Chubb it could make for along day for the defense and a short day for MVPat and company
  3. yea I think he has found a place on the WTF. I was rootn for the kid
  4. I think more of an insurance policy if Tommy gets on the Covid list
  5. #1 Bills /Colts #2 Ravens/Titans..and distant #3 Bears /Saints but most likely will watch them all or most of them
  6. his leg must of really got weak to of been through 2 teams already
  7. Punter Dustin Colquitt is back with the Chiefs. The team is signing Colquitt to its practice squad, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Colquitt spent 15 seasons with the Chiefs before parting ways with the team this offseason. He punted in five games with the Steelers earlier this season and signed with the Bucs’ practice squad after Pittsburgh cut him Oct. 23. The Jaguars signed Colquitt off the Bucs’ practice squad Dec. 24, and he punted in one game for Jacksonville. The Chiefs made Colquitt a third-round choice in 2005.
  8. We’d already learned that Bieniemy completed interviews with both the Atlanta Falcons and the Detroit Lions on Monday. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bieniemy also completed an interview with the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday and wrapped up interviews with the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars today. Keep in mind that these interviews have all taken place virtually. The NFL is not allowing any in-person interviews to take place until the season has concluded as a way to mitigate any potential COVID-19 exposures. Bieniemy has now interviewed with 5-of-6 teams that have head-coaching vacancies this season. The only team that has surprisingly failed to request a head-coaching interview with Bieniemy is the Houston Texans. They appeared to be a prime landing spot for Bieniemy, but they seem to have different plans, at least for now.
  9. explain 3 weeks from his injury date on the 3rd..wont the Chiefs play next on the weekend of the 16/17th?
  10. I think thats right since he was only in his 2nd year in the NFL
  11. All is not lost Not much has gone right since that Super Bowl win. On Monday, after another losing season, Elway announced he was removing himself as the team’s general manager, giving up control of building the roster. He’ll be in charge of hiring the team’s new GM. John Elway gives up personnel role The team announced the moves in the front office, including Elway stepping down from the GM role. He’ll be president of football operations in 2021 and hire a GM “with full authority to oversee the personnel and football departments,” the team said.
  12. true and I'm sure someone would pack his bags for him.. that being said one's teams needs are different than the others so how much could that info really be beneficial?
