  1. no sure didn't..we live too far now since we bought this farm .. not stepping into a city anyway
  2. I think it fair to say the LB corps is certainly the weak link in the D and needs addressing anything more pro or con is
  3. Williams altho IMO making a thoughtful choice taking care of his mom may never see the field again if CEH keeps that up. Seems Andy pulled some plays from LSU to make him comfortable and they worked. I think our search for the next Kareem Hunt maybe over or at least KH lite LB's ....jeesh they are certainly the wink link
  4. I aint mad about tonight's game.. no Preseason ..WTF looked good
  5. well since there will be a medicine man or men blessing the drum on the field.... your guess is as good as mine
  6. ok the Drum still gets Blessed..so much for the outrage. I really dont give rats rectum..fans gonna do what fans gonna do and its ingrained into the Chiefs Kingdom now.. they can say or do what hey want it aint gonna change nothing.
  7. maybe I just dont remember but except for the schedule release I dont remember people being on record for their predictions..and soo much has changed since then with opt outs, no preseason etc etc etc I'm going with 11-5, AFC West Champs and play the Ravins in AFC title game
  8. Do I care?..not in the slightest On any given Sunday, thats why you play the game. Got to hype the game some how.
  9. if by chronic you mean 7 times but rushed the ball 327 and 314 times .. yea your right and in 08 his 2nd year he did have 9 fumbles but rushed the ball 363 times but also made 1700 yrds and his 7 fumbl seasons were 1400 and 1500 yrds but lets do current history of slightly over 1000 and slightly below 900.. with 3 fumbles . He is most likely a first round HOFr..can you be on and be a chronic Fumbler? I guess so ranked 5th all time with an outside chance of being Top 3 along with these stats ATT 3036 YDS 14,216 TD 111 AVG 4.7
  10. agreed. JMO here but I see using the explosiveness to open up a big lead then pound the ball....or Open it up if a late game surg is needed..but then that does go against Andy's DNA where a RB catching out of the backfield is the same as a run
  11. I'd take AP in a heart beat..not so much as his running but he still has "some" Juice but IIRC his blocking was real good and if used sparingly his short yardage ability could prove advantageous.. trouble is he's no pass catching threat..he is a bit of a relic
  12. sure would like to see the price tag on 700 of them rings
  13. they are pat of the Chiefs Radio Network ..so I guess thats why
  14. gotta wonder did all the Ring of Fame players get one? ..awesome gesture to be sure
  15. again and not to be argumentative and I see your point but here is where I am at.. with MVPAt there are no meaningless games. Even IF we have HFA sown up he's probably chasing a record. If we are not even in the playoff hunt yea you might have a point but what are the likely hoods of that? JMO here but even in the event of a MVPat injury unless its season ending ( God Forbid) Reid will still go to his proven back up who knows the playbook and the team has a history with. That being said if you think someone like him say 2-3 years down the road may prove to be worth a high Draft pick thats an an argument worth having but I'm not a gambling man so unless he comes for a 6th-7th or a trade for a virtual nobody...no thank you
  16. honest question.. How is Andy going to rehab a player who has underachieved when we have a player like MVPat who unless injured or with an extreme 30 point lead wont leave the field?
  17. cant believe she can mover her finger with the size of rock thats on it..great googly moogly
  18. the other day I was trying to think of his name..drew a total blank. I guess thats what success will do to a memory..well that and age
  19. Players like continuity as do coaches..Its nice to be soo confident that your franchise is looking so forward in a responsible way
  20. awfully risky..better to put him on IR and save him from the vultures
  21. ok ..gotcha.. but I think you answered your own question..it was a trade still in the works at the time of his injury..in both cases probably one of the best NO GETS in recent Chiefs history..IMHO
  22. Google is your friend https://www.profootballrumors.com/2019/03/earl-thomas-was-close-to-signing-with-chiefs Earl Thomas Was Close To Signing With Chiefs March 16th, 2019 at 12:10pm CST by Ben Levine Before he inked a lucrative contract with the Ravens, Earl Thomas thought he was heading to Kansas City. The veteran safety told the team website that he was set to sign a one- or two-year deal with the Chiefs before Baltimore came calling. “I thought I was going to go Kansas City on like a two-year deal, one-year deal, and I was just going to bet on myself and hit the market again [next year or in 2021], and then my agents called me,” Thomas said (via Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk.com). “They said that Baltimore has made a deal for you. I said, ‘Hell, yeah. That’s where I’m going.’
  23. agreed and AA's opinion piece is just that.. their opinion is no more valid than any opinion on here. Being there is no football times are slow.. AA like most publications are just throwing shit on the wall hoping it sticks
