  5. and the fumbles and the INT in the end zone..cant really just say 1 play. Pittsburg was one of those teams that really had no business in the playoffs in the first place
  6. Peacock payed $110M this is an interesting read to put everything in perspective https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2024/01/peacock-playoff-game-averages-23-million-viewers-sets-internet-traffic-record/
  7. agreed you and Balls ARE part of the problem. I dont live in KC either just poking atcha...the streaming regardless of this "success" is inevitable
  8. It's all your fault bro I'm sure much had to do with the Mahomes + the Taylor affect but I mean did they not think about the weather? The long range forecast was already up and spot on. There where soo many other compelling match ups M&T had to be the deciding factor. still the success alone does not bode well for Joe Six Pak Football Fan. For me personally it was an anxiety less night so I wasn't too mad about it, not watching and then waiting till morning for results & high/low lites isn't soo bad.
  9. "To best serve our fans, we need to ensure games are available to them as their viewing habits change and this includes digital distribution as we continue to help shape the future of the sports and entertainment industry.” in other words..bend over football fans NBC made streaming history Saturday night. The Kansas City Chiefs’ 26-7 win over the Miami Dolphins in their wild-card matchup at Arrowhead Stadium was the most streamed live event in U.S. history. NBC said the game, which was streamed exclusively on Peacock, drew an average of about 23 million viewers Saturday night. It reached about 27.6 million viewers in total and peaked at more than 24.6 million in the second quarter. Saturday was also Peacock’s largest day in the service’s history. It set a record with 16.3 million concurrent devices streaming.
  10. I had heard moving the game to Cleveland was an option... tomorrow high of 19 but time is getting short to make that call
  11. seems there still a possibility that the Steeler v Bills game will be rescheduled again because of weather
  12. Nope...looks like they are just showing the first 1/2 hr..ol bait n switch. That's dirty pool talk about packing salt in a wound
  13. HOLY CRAP! We are getting the game on NBC. Columbia never has been considered "local" before. Anxiety level just went off the charts
  14. did I see the Phins signed Justin Houston? Oh good lord I hope he doesn't have an all pro day
  15. the Cardboard is key IMO, at the 96 Colt's game my lil sister was given a egg crate cup holder by the guy (an Engineer) sitting next to us for her to put her feet on.. she said it was a game changer On Thursday, the Chiefs announced temporary changes to their gameday policies to help keep fans warm during Saturday’s game. Fans will be allowed to bring in: -Blankets (must be draped over shoulder going through security, cannot have zippers or compartments) -Cardboard to stand on (cannot be larger than 3x5 feet) -Heated clothing (batteries must be disconnected during security screening) -One unopened, factory-sealed water bottle (cannot exceed 20 oz) In addition, the team will also have warming stations inside and outside Arrowhead Stadium. .
