  1. I have the Chiefs losing to Cinci in my preseason predictions and the way things are going that is still not too far from being realistic but we will have 1 more loss at least. Nationally Televised games seems to be the Chiefs Kryptonite which does not bode well for the playoffs..what are they like 1-4?
  2. Uh.. lord ..The thought about EB being here is that he was a stickler for detail and was highly vocal about it. Rivera was getting complaints from Washington Players about how strict he was and his methods. He'd crawl up someone's ass when they screwed up and held them accountable.. probably more of a Drill Sargent personality than a Romper Room teacher. The results it seems speaks for themselves.
  3. maybe James changed his mind and having a Hardiman things would of been different
  4. seems to me if it's bothering you you are spending too much time worrying what other people are doing
  5. but is Patrick really working with Veach? I seem to recall Veach is already talking about a pay raise and Patrick is on record talking about raising the bar for QB salaries..seems more like an activist than a team guy.
  6. hoping the Rams, Browns and Bolts win..and the Chiefs dont look like the Chefs
  7. and Gay being an FA I feel that'll be one or the other type deal
  8. one would hope so, with the salary cap it's hard not to see a seismic change on the roster but what about coaches? I cant see anything more than a WR and or RB change coming there unless someone gets a promotion somewhere else. Any chance EB comes back after the much anticipated house cleaning in Washington? As a RB coach or????
  9. the price you pay for being a SB winner
  10. cant wake up a team that's not Championship caliber.. that's the catch. It aint their year. JMO all they are doing now is wasting good draft pick slots by winning
  11. his dead cap # of $2M next year makes him highly cuttable
  12. on the surface in hindsight your right but WHO was offering WHAT IF there even were WHO's and WHAT's all unknowns
  13. if you call $22M of dead cap an out https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/joe-thuney-19028/
  14. or maybe he needs set back on his haunches, a little reality check if you will. As much as he may need a reality check the same might be said about the coaching staff..JMO but they may of thought they could get by with a mediocre WR corps like they did last year but that bunch from last year look like HOFrs compared to these slap nuts
  15. gonna have to get better draft picks somehow.. this aint the SB year so why not now? I thought it would of been last year. My 11-6 prediction looking fairly realistic right about now
  16. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — New details have been revealed in the case involving Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross. Shawnee police arrested Ross on Oct. 23, and the Johnson County district attorney criminally charged him on Oct. 24 with misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and criminal damage. Chiefs WR Justyn Ross placed on Commissioner’s Exempt List According to court documents, Ross found something on his girlfriend’s phone that “upset him.” After seeing her phone, he began yelling, got in her face and told her to get out of their apartment. The court document also says Ross pushed his girlfriend and threw her to the floor. He then threw multiple things at her. According to police, the girlfriend had a scratch on her hand. The girlfriend said that Ross broke multiple items, including a laptop, cellphone, jewelry and the key to her Mercedes. She also said he scratched the side of her Mercedes with scissors. Officers confirmed that there were fresh scratches on her car. Andy Reid comments on Justyn Ross’ criminal charges: ‘He’ll practice’ Ross spoke with police and admitted to breaking the computer and claimed that he owned it. Court documents also say that Ross claims all the things he broke were things he owned. According to court records, officers talked to witnesses who said they saw Justyn push a woman, and another witness said he saw Ross run a knife across the Mercedes. Ross is currently on The NFL’s Commissioner Exempt List. Ross is due back in court for a diversion hearing on Dec. 4.
  17. I said this the day of signing. It's 'Let the best man win" competition to who gets resigned next year. I think Gay edges Tranquil out in athleticism but if you aint playing because of whatever then what good are you?
  18. pretty much what JET said and I'm hoping it was a wake up call.
  19. I'd bet on it and Wash will get the draft picks just to add insult to injury lol
