  1. because as it's been said it takes at least a year to learn the offense and the next 2 years might turn into 4 if the new TE lengthens TK's productive career AND have a 2 TE mega-threat the thing is this draft was an incredibly deep TE draft. and even taking the Domer/Raider off the table there where still an above average number of above average TE's available..hell the Packers drafted 2 out of the 19 drafted
  2. urgency was in CJ's mind I don't believe in anyone else's
  3. If it is a sign of things getting pissy that's not good
  4. I cant disagree with that more! It's more about a happy CJ playing like a happy CJ. Also one never knows who might become available or maybe a need after an injury/injuries. $$ in the bank is never a bad thing
  5. IF that prediction holds true I dont see CJ being that hard to deal with
  6. this ^^^ https://heavy.com/sports/new-york-jets/robert-saleh-nfl-rumors-quinnen-williams/ Jets Predicted to Sign Veteran Standout to $98 Million Deal Rich Cimini of ESPN predicted that Gang Green would sign Quinnen Williams to a record-breaking long-term deal. “My prediction is a four-year, $98 million extension, keeping him with the Jets through 2027,” Cimini wrote in a story published June 15. Such a contract would add four more years on to the last year of his rookie contract, making the extension a five-year deal in total. A $98 million contract, averaging $24.5 million per season, would make Williams the second highest paid defensive tackle in football, behind only Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams and ” target=”_blank”>just ahead of Tennessee Titans’ Jeffery Simmons ($23.5 million).
  7. Exactamundo! Exactamundo ! The other stud TEs in the game to day are George Kittle rd 5, Mark Andrews rd 3, Freiemuth (sp?) rd2, Higbee rd4 and Waller rd6
  8. could of had the now to be a Raider with the pick they had but thats the Domer Homer in me talking, time will tell what the Domer becomes but I can only imagine what he'd become with MVPat throwing to him and Andy scheming him open
  9. sad thing is that the wheels could fall of in a Nano Second on the practice field. The Chiefs not addressing his heir apparent this draft I think was a mistake and now he is a Raider. Yes I know that is a possibility with any player but 34 yo TE the chances are much higher
  10. CJ will be a chief for the next few years..bunch of nuttn..now trade him for a top 5 pick after season we'll talk twatter doing what twatter does
  11. you pay to read the Star? Good lord man you do scrape the bottom of the barrel you have a point or just pissing in a fan again?
  12. HA .. Que Mex in 3-2-1 " CLARK SUCKS!" He'll not have the same success that Neil Smith had nor will he be warmly welcomed back in KC.. what a douchebag
  13. I got no idea who that big eyed goomer is..maybe a link to an actual article would be helpful
  14. at least she died seeing her beloved Husband's Chiefs being a Force as they where when they started the league years ago. RIP Norma
  15. What do NFL front offices think of free agent DeAndre Hopkins? Nick Wojton Thu, June 1, 2023 at 11:45 AM CDT It’s a mixed bag of answers if you’re wondering what NFL front office executives think about free agent DeAndre Hopkins. The All-Pro wideout is without a team after the Arizona Cardinals released him. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs were teams that reportedly engaged in trade talks for Hopkins but neither pulled the trigger. Separate reports have noted Hopkins wants to still be paid like a top receiver and he isn’t necessarily chasing a Super Bowl ring at a discount price… although, a ring would be nice for him. Considering that, it could cost a team some dollars in the near future add Hopkins–But is the 31-year-old worth it? You’d be hard pressed to find a general manager or other front office member in the NFL that would go on the record to give their thoughts. However, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer asked a few of those types for their thoughts… anonymously. It’s the best we’ve got… and even in that, there’s a lot of grey area. Per Breer, front offices are torn on Hopkins. Some think he’s still got it. Others don’t. The full breakdown via SI can be found below:
  16. the fact that we have not heard from Brett nor Andy that D-Hop is NOT on the radar has me concerned. I don't see much value in being suspenseful since the Chiefs have no Cap room so it is not as if the Chiefs will make the likes of the Bills, Ravens or anyone else for that matter over pay. I'll be glad when this silliness is over. I'm in the no need for D-Hop category but really hope he goes to the NFC
  17. Browns sure seem to think they have the inside line
  18. my hunch it was more Kyler Murray but that being said he wont be coming here unless a Ring is is only motivation and his list of approved QBs he wants to play with are all legit contenders. I think we'll see an answer to this equation by the end of next week..my hunch Bills or Bengals
  19. Chiefs TE Travis Kelce thinks NFL’s new fair catch kickoff rule is ‘absolutely stupid’ https://currently.att.yahoo.com/sports/chiefs-te-travis-kelce-thinks-173532557.html
  20. yup per KKuen in the NFL forum "I read last year there were 19 concussions on the kickoffs in the NFL. Only 1 of them involved the kick returner."
  21. not sure if anyone watched the XFL but they had an interesting KO rule and it seemed like the returner usually got to the 25 but the impacts were less ferocious
