  1. 😆 maybe he'll pay for about 20 of his friends to all dress like that as well..It'd drive the Cops mad
  2. Bono or his wife said something derogatory. That was the beginning of the end of his stay
  3. did another pretty rich girl piss in your cheerios this morning?
  4. with the way Veach does things. I'd bet on this
  5. I'd freakn hope so . $14M a year is damned near Franchise tag $$ CW got three-years worth up to $42 million, including $26.7 million guaranteed,
  6. letting him go to FA seems silly & a Franchise Tag would be near the $15M mark so 2 big NEAGATIVES. One of the other tags would make more sense so the Chiefs have him pretty solid for 2 more years. It would be interesting to see what an extension would come too.
  7. any TE other than Michael Meyers ..who wont be there or Washington in my eyes he's a light OT that can catch the ball and run. That being said my gut says the LT from Oklahoma or RT from Tenn
  8. It's probably realistic to wager that TK wont beat Gonzo or Gates but he already has 2 things they dont have and he's already a 1rst ballot HOFr. I'm just amazed the Chiefs have hard 2 of the 3 best TE's in NFL History, I wouldn't be mad if they drafted that behemoth TE Darnell Washington at 31 he is truly like an extra lineman..soo many things he can do
  9. Chiefs host SMU WR Rashee Rice on top-30 visit a talented wide receiver prospect who played with Shane Buechele for two seasons at SMU. SMU WR Rashee Rice posted on his Instagram account that he was in Kansas City for a visit with the Chiefs (h/t to Arrowhead Live for the screen capture). K.C. was already in attendance for Rice’s pro day at SMU last week, but they seem to be out to get some more information on this prospect ahead of the draft. Rice is coming off the best season of his Mustangs career, with career-high marks in receptions (96), yards (1,355) and touchdowns (10). He had a really impressive performance at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.51s 40-yard dash (1.5 10-yard split), a 41-inch vertical (tied for best among receivers) and a 10-foot-8 broad jump.
  10. Chiefs to host South Carolina CB Cam Smith on top-30 visit A starter with the Gamecocks since 2020, Smith racked up six interceptions and 18 passes defended during that span. He’s a long, physical, outside cornerback who is regarded as one of the top players in a strong cornerback draft class. Smith was a standout at the cornerback position during the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine. Here’s what we had to say about him:
  11. count us out but then we dont /wont pay for any of the services and wouldn't if it meant missing 50% of the games...fukm all.
  12. a couple of Tenn boys that played together in College on the Right side couldn't be all bad
  13. Tennessee RT Darnell Wright appears to be visiting Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs appear to be playing host to one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2023 NFL draft for a top-30 visit. NFL podcaster Billy Marshall shared a screen grab of Tennessee RT Darnell Wright’s Instagram story in which he’s spotted arriving at the new terminal at Kansas City International Airport. The Chiefs already met with Wright formally at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis along with 11 other NFL teams. Now, it appears they’re using one of their 30 allotted pre-draft visits on the expected first-round draft pick. A four-year starter at Tennessee, Wright has 47 games under his belt including starts at left tackle, right tackle and right guard. He’s had quite the pre-draft following up an impressive performance at the Senior Bowl with a nice job during workouts and drills at the combine. His 5.01s 40-yard dash was fourth among all offensive tackles and his 1.81s 10-yard split tied for the eleventh-best mark among all offensive tackles this year.
  14. I'm not sure of the difference between the Team looking to Trade or allowing D-Hop to look for a Trade is. Maybe someone can explain @xen?
  15. Report: DeAndre Hopkins receives permission from Cardinals to seek trade Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins continues to be the focal point of trade talk. He now has permission to talk to other teams. Via Albert Breer of SI.com, Hopkins has received permission to shop his contract elsewhere. Hopkins has a non-guaranteed compensation package of $19.45 million in 2023. He turns 31 on June 6. Hopkins, who not long ago was the highest-paid receiver in the NFL, has slipped as the market exploded. And while the market will still generate major dollars for the best of the best, the availability of young, healthy receivers makes it hard to justify giving significant dollars to aging players with injury issues and, in Hopkins’s case, a six-game PED suspension last year. Even though he insists he didn’t intentionally consume performance-enhancing drugs, the positive test happened. The suspension happened. Although Hopkins’ salary isn’t guaranteed, the Cardinals may have to pay some of it to facilitate a trade. If they can’t find a taker, they need to ask whether to carry a $30.75 million cap number to keep him on the team — or to cut him, at a cap charge of $22.6 million. After June 1 (or with a post-June 1 move now), the Cardinals could split the cap hit over two years, $11.3 million in 2023 and $11.3 million in 2024. For now, the Cardinals prefer to unload the contract while also getting value. To get value, they may have to pay some salary. For a new team, the challenge may be figuring out a contract that makes Hopkins happy. Part of this process may result in Hopkins realizing the numbers won’t quite be where he thought they’d be.
  16. Chiefs projected to receive two compensatory picks in 2024 NFL draft so far Charles Goldman Mon, March 27, 2023 at 9:45 AM CDT he Kansas City Chiefs have done an alright job navigating the 2023 free agency period as it relates to compensatory draft picks for 2024. According to Over The Cap’s Nick Korte, the Chiefs are projected to receive two fifth-round compensatory picks in the 2024 NFL draft as a result of their free agents gained and lost. Kansas City has lost six qualifying compensatory free agents: Orlando Brown Jr. ($16M), Andrew Wylie ($8M), JuJu Smith-Schuster ($8.5M), Juan Thornhill ($7M), Mecole Hardman ($4.5M) and Khalen Saunders ($4.1M). Meanwhile, the team has gained four qualifying compensatory free agents: Jawaan Taylor ($20M), Charles Omenihu ($8M), Drue Tranquill ($3M), and Mike Edwards ($3M). Contracts for Brown Jr., Wylie, Hardman and Saunders cancel out the contracts for Taylor, Omenihu, Tranquil and Edwards in the compensatory pick formula, leaving Kansas City with two projected fifth-round picks for the departures of Smith-Schuster and Thornhill. The Chiefs signed DT Byron Cowart, but his contract is not worth enough to cancel out any of the qualifying free agents lost. The inverse goes for the Denver Broncos’ deal with FB Michael Burton and the Dallas Cowboys’ deal with RB Ronald Jones. That could certainly change depending on their performance and playtime in the 2023 NFL season. That previously happened with Damien Wilson, for instance. He signed a non-compensable contract in 2021, but he played enough for the Panthers to earn Kansas City a comp pick. Kansas City could be due for more compensatory picks in 2024 as they still have several free agents available who could sign with other teams after the draft. Guys like Carlos Dunlap, Justin Watson and Jerick McKinnon still remain free agents. If those players are signed to qualifying contracts before May 2, they’ll be eligible to earn the team another comp pick. Conversely, if the Chiefs sign any players to qualifying contracts before May 2, they could eliminate one of the two compensatory picks they’re currently projected to receive.
  17. ok so do they use him to supplement average L&R tackles and take him with our #1 or trade down a tinch and take him with a higher 2 pick? I see him as a mid to high 2 rounder myself
  18. JMO but this is more media and fan driven than any real interest by 1Arrowhead dr
  19. maybe 2nd? https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Darnell-Washington-TE-Georgia SCOUTING REPORT: SUMMARY Washington was used predominantly as a blocker while at Georgia and was impressive in his execution, he however given his frame and overall athletic skills is the kind of player that can become a much better pro than college player. He has the talent as a receiver to be integrated into a pro-level passing offense to a significant extent and his obvious tangibles would create mismatches, especially in the secondary. We see Washington as a high-potential prospect who can dominate at the next level and will likely be selected in the second or third round of the 2023 NFL draft. PLAYER COMPARISON Marcedes Lewis As a pass blocker he is outstanding and easily handles blitzing LBs on the edge. In the 72 instances when he was used strictly in pass protection he didn't give up a single pressure
  20. yea but a first? not sure that's good idea but this guy was mocked to us by USA today Chiefs select Georgia TE Darnell Washington.
  21. but our guards are not a problem altho it is nice IF one goes down
  22. Chiefs to host UNM Lobos S Jerrick Reed II on top 30 visit According to The Draft Network’s Justin Melo, the Chiefs are scheduled to have New Mexico S Jerrick Reed II in on a top-30 visit. A First Team All-Mountain West Conference selection back in 2020, Reed became the first Lobos defensive back to earn a First-Team All-Conference selection since Glover Quin back in 2008. Reed has developed the reputation of a ballhawk during his college career. He has centerfield range, but he’s also not afraid to come down and make a tackle in run support. Listed at 5-foot-10 and 192 pounds, Reed has 266 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, seven interceptions, 21 passes defended and one defensive touchdown since 2019. His pro day workout showed that he’s a tremendous athlete, on par with the best invited to the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine. Reed had an outstanding Pro Day 40: 4.46 (Tied for 3rd among S at combine) Bench: 18 reps VJ: 38” ( 5th at combine) Broad: 10-2 (8th at combine) 3C: 7.16 SS: 4.31
