  1. just my gut feeling is the Chiefs ae not really in the D-Hop sweepstakes it's more fans wishing real hard and a dab of media thrown in to keep that candle burning. Same with OBJ. Draft cant get here quick enough for me
  2. top 5 of what? Chiefs rotation? He doesnt need to be to be a contributor and as a UDFA that should all that could be hoped for
  3. Overview Highly athletic four-year starter at left tackle who might have the best chance to stick in the league as a zone-scheme guard. It’s easy to love the athletic flashes, but it’s challenging to love the complete body of work when studying the game tape. Duncan rarely plays with enough finish and his man is frequently near the final action because of it. He has the foot speed to protect as a left tackle, but his ability to anchor is a major concern. His lateral quickness should work to his advantage as a move blocker, but he’ll need to unearth enough grit to stand up to NFL bullies at the point of attack to make it. Strengths Four-year starter at left tackle. Very loose-hipped and fluid when working in space. Smooth acceleration when asked to pull. Comes off the ball with adequate bend and pad level. Feet to jump and steer edge defenders on kickout blocks. Quality slide quickness in his pass sets. Athletic ability improves recovery potential when beaten. Weaknesses Gets out in space easily but fails to accomplish much with those opportunities. Lets opponents off the hook with passive finishes. Barely delivers glancing blows to secure first block on combos. Lack of length gets exposed in protection duties. Speed rushers drive through his outside edge too easily. Anchor unable to withstand continuous pressure.
  4. Latest on Odell Beckham Jr.: Jets' interest is 'very real' March 22, 5:32 p.m On a day full of moves for Gang Green, the Jets continue to look at possibly bolstering their wide receiver room. According to SNY's Connor Hughes, the Jets' interest in Odell Beckham Jr. is "very real." Aaron Rodgers and OBJ have a close relationship, and when the Jets contingent visited the future Hall of Fame quarterback in California earlier this month, the receiver's name was brought up. Wednesday, the Jets signed former Chiefs wideout Mecole Hardman and traded Elijah Moore to the Browns, along with a third-round pick, for Cleveland's second-round pick in this year's draft -- the No. 42 overall pick.
  5. seems D-Hop is on everybody's wish list and now the Bills as well. to many players and that's usually when the Chiefs lose out. If it really is a loss which I'm not convinced of yet. The Buffalo Bills reportedly have interest in a trade for All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson from KPRC2-TV in Houston, the Bills area the team “headlining” Hopkins’ trade market.
  6. am I the only one that is not overly excited about either option?
  7. J-E-T-S should be a handful and fun to watch this year

  9. Hard to say but the Chiefs must of told him Bye Felcia. Another1 year deal it seems epidemic this year. Chiefs have to have something up their sleeve... dont they?😟
  10. According to The Score NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, Chiefs free agent WR Mecole Hardman has agreed to a one-year deal with New York Jets. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport added that the contract is worth up to $6.5 million. He pairs with reigning offensive rookie of the year, Garrett Wilson, and other receivers like Allen Lazard and Elijah Moore. With Aaron Rodgers expected to come into the fold, the Jets offense will have a lot more speed and weaponry than they have had in recent years.
  11. I had heard about the Vikequeens and others but nothing about the JETS. Fascinating
  12. If he fits such a dire need then why not sign him for longer? The way it works now we can lose both Gay and Tranquill after next year
  13. NFL free agency: Cowboys sign running back Ronald Jones to one-year deal
  14. for good reason..but here's a link of propaganda https://sports.yahoo.com/derrick-nnadi-signs-chiefs-164958881.html?fr=yhssrp_catchall Derrick Nnadi has re-signed with Kansas City, according to agency SportsTrust Advisors. Nnadi started all 17 regular-season games and all three postseason contests for the Chiefs this season, winning Super Bowl LVII. Nnadi recorded 25 tackles with one tackle for loss in the regular season, playing 34 percent of the defensive snaps. He also had three tackles with a sack in the postseason. A third-round pick in 2018, Nnadi has played all five years of his career with Kansas City. He’s posted 193 total tackles with 4.0 sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble in 81 games with 69 starts.
  15. Hard to think there is not someone available that'd not be better for the same $$ but maybe Veach/Spags see's something we dont. Curious to what the $$ is because IF its a 5M deal well hell Saunders go that in NO. In Veach I trust
  16. The Chiefs are reportedly the top contenders to acquire a high-profile back-up quarterback as a precautionary measure for Patrick Mahomes. BY M. ROBITAILLE Following their Super Bowl win in 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs found themselves without a backup quarterback after Chad Henne announced his retirement. As a result, the Chiefs are reportedly in the market for a new QB to play understudy to Patrick Mahomes. According to bookies, they are the top contenders to land free-agent signal-caller Carson Wentz, who was released by the Washington Commanders and saved them $26 million in cap space. Despite Wentz's inconsistency, he is a former Super Bowl winner, All-Pro and Pro Bowl player, and has been in the MVP conversation. Playing behind Mahomes could help him revive his career, and a move to Kansas City may be just what he needs. However, it remains to be seen if he is willing to put his ego aside and sign with the Chiefs on a cheap deal.
  17. yea I was just reading up on a draft report https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Deuce-Vaughn-RB-KansasState Good and the bad that stood out Vaughn is elite as a receiver. He runs routes as well as most receivers and has natural hands, snatching the ball away from his body. Size is an obvious issue. he will never be able to do anything between the tackles, and he will likely be limited to a lot of gadget plays like fly sweeps.
  18. yikes I didn't know he was that small. yea he'd need to be used rather sparingly and not as a blocker lol. Probably go undrafted
  19. yup pretty much and I never bought into the idea the Chiefs where going to trade for Tunsil and make him #1 LT $$$. It's not the Veach way but sure will be curious to see how this LT mess is solved. I'm not buying Taylor at LT unless something on down the line goes FUBAR.
  20. wasn't Ethan Horton supposed to be an H back as well? Speaking of Busts
