  1. that truly did make me laugh out loud because #METOO!!!!
  2. but how to pay for them? Unless something really mind blowing happens there are no "Top Tier" LTs available
  3. in Veach's eyes tho it seems maybe not B+ maybe B-/C+s one thing is for certain, buying a player's Jersey that is not 15 or 87 is a gamble altho we'd like to think 95 is safe bet
  4. Saunders is the only true loss IMO the others could take them or leave them. Veach has a plan and it will be exciting to see what it is. These post season FA periods always seem to have a theme..lack of movement but loss of players, fans get a tad worried then a siging here or there for short and on the cheap. A trade for the draft and bingo we dont look soo bad. Veach plays the VERY long game which is something IMO fans have a hard time accepting or realizing. In Veach I trust.
  5. this one will hurt.. STL kind that went to school at Western Illinois < $5M a year really? head scratcher to me
  6. I was bettn on Da Bears signing him for BIG $$ just because they have it to spend
  7. Chiefs tender exclusive rights free agent QB Shane Buechele Chiefs tender exclusive rights free agent TE Jody Fortson
  8. Saw one prediction was he was in the $9M a year category.. Pats are going no where.. Thanks for the memories JuJu. I see Lazard is a Jet now?...bummer
  9. Pigs get fat and Hogs get slaughterd..OBJ has done Hogged himself if you believe what is said
  10. there is non and the the Patrick's phone "Blowing Up" from calls is Palangi style hyperbole at it's worst.
  11. who is "Palmer"? It's his "understanding"...pfft pretty safe "understanding" I mean who wouldn't want to be thrown TDs from MVPAT.. question is how cheap are they willing to play for?
  12. see what the Donks just paid the 49rs RT about the same give or take but Taylor only 4 years
  13. the bolded echoes what some of the Jags Wire comments said and I guess soo much for running the Ball around the edges lol
  14. Totally agree. I remember listening to an interview with Micth Schwartz and he pretty much echoed the same thing about RT's taking on premium Rushers and how we may see the pay scale equal out. Of course he being an RT influenced that opinion but it held water
  15. I echo everything you posted. At least OBJ had played LT at the Pro level .. this guy NADA. Altho Veach has credibility and this wont cost him his job but IF this is a misesarble failure...he gets MVPAtrick hurt bad the fans will turn on him like Pit Bulls on a RibRoast. I stil have not seen where Veach nor Andy mentioned him as the LT so I have not given up hope
  16. According to the folks at OverTheCap, Taylor carries a low base salary of $1.08 million in 2023, with $4.725 million in prorated bonus money and a $20K workout bonus. It brings his first-year cap hit up to $5.825 million, leaving Kansas City with somewhere around $9 million in cap space remaining for 2023. They do have several other ways to create more cap space this season, including a Chris Jones extension and a number of other restructures. For each of the following three years after 2023, Taylor carries a $19.5 million base salary along with $4.725 million in prorated bonus money, giving him cap hits of $24.725 million in 2024, 2025 and 2026. A total of $40 million is guaranteed at the signing of the contract and the Chiefs can realistically get out of the contract after two years, but more likely three years. Ideally, Kansas City likes what they see from Taylor in 2023 and restructure his contract next year (prior to $20 million of the deal becoming fully guaranteed on the third day of the new league year) to create some space and push money into future years when the salary cap is expected to rise.
