Kansas City's win kept them firmly atop the AFC standings with a strong 11-3 record and a great opportunity to grab the No. 1 seed in the conference come playoffs. Sunday's win was no easy task, especially thanks to the officiating of Carl Cheffers. Week 15 was yet another incident of Cheffers displaying some potential bias against the Chiefs when he failed to throw a flag on Maliek Collins obvious roughing the passer penalty. Some quick research from FanSided's Preston Farr exposed Cheffers for his suspicious track record against Patrick Mahomes and his squad. According to Farr's research, 21.9% of Kansas City's total penalties have occurred in 14% of their games thus far (the two officiated by Cheffers). He added that this now marks the second season in a row in which Cheffers' crews penalize the Chiefs at the second-highest rate in football. Keep in mind, Andy Reid and his squad play one of the cleanest versions of football in the entire NFL. Through Week 15, the Chiefs pick up the 6th-fewest penalties per game. They average just 5.1 per game. On Sunday, Cheffers and his crew flagged Kansas City a total of 10 times.
  4. are you taking into consideration the $9M in dead cap for Clark and $4M for MVS?
  5. I hadn't either or at least not that I recalled. I just noticed it last night because of the call and explanation during the Chiefs game. I will certainly notice it more now.

  8. Yikes even if the Chiefs cut Machinegun Clark next year it'd be $9M in dead cap space
  9. agreed but the Chiefs should lock him up before some dumbass team cough Raiders raises the bar
  10. the DBs dont seem to be progressing as I had hoped & stats be damned having Reek out there was cause to be confident
  11. The Chiefs are getting worse and Seattle will beat us soundly. Is Toney hurt? he disappeared
  12. he was the 5th in the draft.. you want to have a suck season that bad? I dont.
  13. is he? I though he was all better now. Did that replacement 2nd kid miss? I dont recall. i thought he got picked up shortly after he was released. All I know is some serious competition needs to be brought in. That chunky kid from MIZZOU aint half bad
  14. Dude I have a reason..he miss's more than he should what should be be a chip shot is now Drama. That being said it seemed to me that Harlan and Green kinda gave him bad mojo.. those 2 shoulda known better that give him props before a kick.
  15. With Thuney's pay scale for the next 2 years I can see little other option to move him to LT as he's uncuttable now IF the Chiefs could get a high upside LT in the say the first round it might be acceptable to leave Thuney at LG..a serviceable RT should be easy enough to find you'd hope. I have a sneaky suspicion the Andys ( Reid & Heck) still are betting on Niagn(sp?) for next year and IMO that's a fool's bet. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/joe-thuney-19028/
