  1. Bolton is on the injury list I see...pulled groin and DNP
  2. comparing Clark and Jones is lunacy, one is terminally ill and made of glass.. the other not. One is a perianal Pro Bowler .. the other is not, one is a multiple criminal offender the other is not. I'm not against trading Jones to the right team for a meaningful pick..ie NOT in the high 20s or low 30's or more. Jones is part of what the front office calls it's "Core" I dont see him going anywhere and I'm not mad about it
  3. we have a 7th round guy who jus beat out a 1rst rnd guy after having more playing time...jus saying also had a 7h round pick and who prospect scored to be a Candidate For Bottom Of Roster Or Practice Squad guy save the day with an INT TD vs Chargers.(Jaylen Watson) So never said replacing but if that's what you got that's what you got and no its not throwing in the towel. JMO but if the coaching staff thinking that they will get better with more playing time then thats what they need and that is what they are getting tool ate to do anything about it now and I'm not whining about the past Iron is forged in fire.
  4. I guess that's just me. I'm not sweating the loses the more we get the better the picks..we need good picks those high 20's to low 30 picks altho nice to have only facilitate the need to use multiple picks to trade up. I'm not seeing a SB appearance this year and never had..It'll be Eagles/ ( I was until Sunday saying 49rs but) Cowboys V Bills /Phins. . I'd like an Eagles /Bills SB myself
  5. agreed IF there is one available and worth it
  6. cant learn if you dont play..baptism by fire is the best way.. Hey look I'm a Poet
  7. this year it is what it is. To imagine or even consider a change is lunacy unless some serious injuries' come in to play but then maybe not.
  8. I'm more in line with Thuney at LT and draft a guard or an interior lineman in FA or couldwe hope someone on the roster could play LG?
  9. your Pal AFC WEst already posted that in another thread. I didn't read the link the he provided and not sure if he was considered depth for LT or both T positions or at what cost but one would hope the front office considered him. Makes me wonder why the lack of trying to sign ex players who played admirably in the past? Are those bridges burnt soo badly?
  10. with Thuney being practically uncuttable for another 2 years at $22M+ I think the writing is on the wall in regards to the LT position and further discussion needs to be had as Thuney as our LT
  11. I have to wonder with OBJs abysmal performance on Sunday how much Thuney's absence just made a bad situation worse. I'm not trying to excuse anything but trying to quantify the relationship. and just an FYI 2023-2025 Thuney is a $22+M left guard only to be remotely considered to be cuttable in 2024. I think having OBJ as a LT and having over $40 mil ion the left side of the O-line is unfathomable. I think that seals the deal on OBJ..Bye Bye YIKES! https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/joe-thuney-19028/
  12. advocating a trade is one thing but out right cut?.. your a fool
  13. I hope Karloftis (sp?) can drastically improve. that'd be a real shame to of wasted that pick
  14. Made All American as a Sophomore. I think thats where the Brad Budde comparison ends
  15. sometimes a team needs a wake up call, could be they where feeling a bit full of themselves. I hope this was a reset button for them
  16. on KC Sports Talk this past week there was a discussion and it was brought up that if they where to pick a QB to start a franchise it'd be Burrow's over Mahomes and Allen simply because of his success throughout his career. He is a cool customer fer sure.
  17. Tackles are a definite weakness Veach's revamp on the edges has not worked
