  3. ''Patrick Mahomes is the definition of a Hall of Famer. He's changed the game,'' Bills pass rusher Von Miller said. ''Nobody has ever played the game like he has. He's left a mark on our sport, left a mark on our league. ''And,'' Miller said, ''he's influenced his teammates to play at a higher level than they normally would.''
  4. https://currently.att.yahoo.com/sports/chiefs-wr-kadarius-toney-indicates-193527392.html Perhaps the biggest concern about Toney this season has been his health. He’s dealt with three separate hamstring injuries since training camp and hasn’t played a snap since Week 2. Toney did not participate in Wednesday’s practice for New York and wasn’t expected to play in Week 8, but that might have had more to do with the approaching trade deadline as opposed to the injury. Toney took to Twitter shortly after the trade was announced to suggest that he’s no longer injured, while also responding to some critics who felt he was perhaps “faking” his injury. “That joke would’ve been funny if I was actually hurt still,” Toney wrote in the now-deleted tweet. “Lol. . . Irrelevant people don’t get updates.” Even if Toney is still dealing with some remnants of the hamstring injury, he’ll have to pass a physical for the trade to be consummated. The Chiefs are on the bye week, which gives him plenty of time to dive into the playbook, get fully healthy and get back onto the practice field ahead of the Week 9 showdown against the Tennesse Titans on “Sunday Night Football.” Toney will get a fresh start in Kansas City and get a chance to put whatever happened in New York behind him.
  5. you might be on to something with the Reid connection angle. Kafka, Pederson etc. I would like to think they'd be honest with each other on what's up with a potential trade.
  6. KANSAS CITY - The 2023 NFL Draft will be held in Kansas City from Thursday April, 27 through the 29. The NFL Draft officially opens at 7 p.m. on the respective Thursday. Officials from the National Football League and the Kansas City Sports Commission provided an update Thursday on the plans for the event itself. John Barker, senior vice president of global event operations and production at the NFL, and Kathy Nelson, president of the Kansas City Sports Commission, spoke to the members of the Kansas City Council. The plans they unveiled reveled a preliminary site plan for the event at Union Station. The plan is to have the main stage be in front of the station. “We are unbelievably excited about this,” Barker said. “This one has all the markings of being special.” Officials are also preparing for a draft day fan event that will take place on the north and south side of Liberty Memorial. That event will start at noon on Thursday. Events will continue at noon Friday, April 28, with rounds two and three will start at 6 p.m. The three-day event continues on Saturday, April 29, with the Draft Experience opening at 10 a.m. and rounds 4-7 of the draft starting at 11 a.m.
  7. like has been mentioned previously I think this has more to do with next year than this. Get him returning punts to get Moore the fuk off the field and prepare for post Hardman/JuJu
  8. not according to this link but I hope you are right https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/stats/Kadarius-Toney-WR-Florida

  10. Da bears A day after his release from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, Daurice Fountain landed with a new team. According to the NFL’s official personnel notice for Wednesday, Fountain has signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad. The former fifth-round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts originally joined the Chiefs in 2021, meaning he has familiarity with new Bears GM Ryan Poles. He also was with new Bears HC Matt Eberflus in Indianapolis.
  11. so is this your idea or Blato's? If neither a link would also be helpful
  12. any talk of a SB is folly IMO unless the Bills suffer some sort of catastrophic wave of injuries. We have yet to play the Bolts and we all know there is another Indy type game in the future just hopefully not against the Dirts or Donks.
  13. Chiefs to release WR Daurice Fountain from practice squad Charles Goldman Mon, October 24, 2022 at 3:33 PM The Kansas City Chiefs are allowing one of their practice to pursue other opportunities according to a new report. Chiefs Digest’s Matt Derrick revealed on Monday that the Chiefs will release WR Daurice Fountain from the practice squad. A former fifth-round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, Fountain first caught on with Kansas City in 2021. After a strong training camp and preseason, Fountain made the initial 53-man roster in 2021, but he would be released in October. He spent the majority of his time on the practice squad with the Chiefs, but he was called up twice during last season’s playoff run to play on special teams. The 2022 NFL season saw Fountain released during 53-man roster cuts and signed to the practice squad. According to Derrick, Fountain has received interest from several teams who are seeking receiver help at the midseason mark. With the Chiefs adding another receiver to the practice squad just last week alongside veterans Chris Conley, Marcus Kemp and Cornell Powell, it’s no surprise that Fountain wanted out of Kansas City. He’s always been a team player during his time in Kansas City, routinely seen rooting for his teammates on Twitter on game day. There is no doubt that his presence in the locker room will be missed.
  14. Kafka is their OC ya never know what he may think of Hardman, surely he was part of the draft discussion.
  15. I never said or implied Hate that is your own Costanza sensitivities at work. I just think that if we could get a decent return on the guy he should be on the next greyhound outta KC. A team might see him as a future #1 or #2 WR, here he's a gadget #3 at best. We have Moore and that other kid that got hurt in training camp coming on. They're cheaper and an untapped upside..we know what Hardman's upside is. The NY _Giants look to be a great place for him and I'd take a 4rth in a heart beat. Probably only get a 6th and a conditional..maybe still I'd take it.
  16. I was thinking about how high his trade value just rose he's a gadget player and they are dime a dozen, Even Clark the Shark had a break out performance but doesn't mean we should keep or resign them.
  17. Burns is a young healthy stud not an lately hurt middle /late career RB..Burns wont come cheap especially to a team who more likely than not will have end of round picks.
