By Kansas City Chiefs Former Chiefs tackle Mitchell Schwartz’s Twitter feed is a mix of football and food, as cooking is a passion of his. Schwartz also has shared some messages about his recovery from back surgery in February. Chiefs coach Andy Reid this week left the door open for Schwartz to return to the team, but for now Schwartz is focused on his rehabilitation. Many Chiefs fans have had fun interactions with Schwartz on Twitter, whether it’s about grilling or sports. TOP ARTICLES K-State Q&A: Looking ahead to football season, transfers, Shane Southwell and more But Schwartz smacked down one Chiefs fan this week who suggested he cared more about barbecuing that football. “What else would you like me to do? Rehab 9 days a week? Start playing football less than 2 months after back surgery?” Mitchell asked. I mostly cook my own meals in the mean time. What else would you like me to do? Rehab 9 days a week? Start playing football less than 2 months after back surgery? Big Chief @BigBean84 Replying to @MitchSchwartz71 and @KANknives Guy cares more about bbq than football nowadays. Tyrann Mathieu @Mathieu_Era They will never understand. All love this way brother! One of best I’ve been around! Schwartz also had some fun exchanges with people who supported him after the response to the fan. Mike Tanier @MikeTanier · Apr 19, 2021 Replying to @MitchSchwartz71 You meet the best people on this website. Mitchell Schwartz @MitchSchwartz71 Indeed. It’s usually a tipping point too you just get enough of those types of things and figure F it. Yes, I can both fully accomplish rehab and then come home and make sausage and peppers and homemade garlic bread for lunch. And now do contrast on my back and respond to idiots! Mitchell Schwartz Wow, that’s so true. You blew my mind, I never considered that. @proatc can we start doing this? 10 min in and out and get you right back in! Atypical Doc @wineinger Replying to @MitchSchwartz71 If you really cared about football, you would have had surgery in the pop up sideline tent while the defense was on the field Jimmy Traina @JimmyTraina · Apr 19, 2021 Replying to @MitchSchwartz71 Caring more about bbq than football is actually the right way to live life. Mitchell Schwartz @MitchSchwartz71 And…surprisingly healthier?? All the successful people in the world wake up before 3am (and wait to drink coffee until 8:30) and night owls get so much work done so if I sleep from 1-3am that seems optimal Sam Monson @PFF_Sam Replying to @MitchSchwartz71 I mean... do you really need to sleep? That's 1/3 of your day you're wasting right there. Chiefs tackle Mitchell Schwartz is one of the best in the business at protecting quarterbacks from getting splattered by opposing pass-rushers. 2. i did see one today that had us trading from 31 to 20 with the bears and we picked up Darisaw, i think we also gave them a 2nd and a 4th from 2022
  3. i don't think there is a trade here at all... Yes we are thin at OT but what should not shock anyone is that we have not heard of anyone talking about or visiting with Fish or Schwartz. That will possibly change after the draft or maybe we have some type of agreement to give us first crack at one or both. We can resign one of them or go with Okung and will be good, no need to throw away needed picks for a player who will command a high salary in a few years.
  4. andy did tell him he is welcome on his staff whenever he is ready
  5. it's a shame he had to spend the last few seasons with washington
  6. nobody knows what any team is going to do in the first round outside of the jags at #1 i get that you hate Hands but quit taking shit so seriously
  7. Hands wants KC to make a push for Brown so the ravens can get another 1st rounder, using that reverse psychology
  8. How dare you talk about the Chiefs on a Chiefs board, you are such a troll 🤣 Yes i do believe it is the same in KC (so i have heard)
  9. Because WE all get along with him and don’t get butthurt when he posts something, I met hands at a ravens chiefs preseason game some years ago and he is good people.
  10. maybe their Training Staff knows how to keep him out of the tub
  11. I wonder if we are bringing guys in to send a message of any kind to our Roster so they don't get complacent or are the guys that are coming in expecting to get higher paydays vice really wanting to try for a Ring? I am not upset about any of this so far, glad we did not pay for Williams and i still have no idea who the CB that came to visit is. was or ever will be. Pretty sure Ingram wants a payday and two shots at the chargers, we can do better
  12. so he has had 15 hours to consider the offer, KC being way to generous with this dude...pull the fucking plug and let him consider offers from shitty teams that are going nowhere
  13. i read a lot of negatives from raider fans regarding Jackson....buyer beware
