  1. The Chiefs postponed their practice Thursday following a medical emergency involving a player earlier in the morning. The unidentified player — a backup on the roster, The Star has learned — is in stable condition. He was transported via ambulance from the team’s practice facility to an area hospital. The team’s doctors and athletic trainers responded quickly to the medical emergency, The Star was told. The Chiefs announced that they have rescheduled their final organized team activities (OTAs) practice for Friday. Coach Andy Reid will speak with reporters after that workout. Thursday was scheduled to be the second-to-last day of the team’s voluntary three-week OTAs. The team is allowed 10 days to work with players during this specific period.
  2. does it matter? They all blended into one bad season after another. only bright spot was the WC game under Mackovic
  3. BY PETE GRATHOFF UPDATED JUNE 06, 2024 9:46 AM Former Kansas star Chris Harris Jr. announced his retirement earlier this spring after 12 seasons in the NFL, and he gave a nod to Broncos fans. “Broncos Country ... was definitely an amazing place to play, to have my career there, play nine years and y’all have been so good to me and my family,” Harris said, per CBS News. “I just want to thank y’all for all your support, especially in the community. Things that we do in the community, we still there, we still doing a lot of things, but you continue to support. So, I just want to thank you for that.” Broncos fans probably loved Harris’ sentiment, but they may not like hearing what Harris had to say earlier this week. While on “Up & Adams,” Harris was asked if he would consider ending his retirement to join a team. One that appeals to Harris is the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs. “Definitely I could go play with the Eagles. You know, they already have a veteran secondary. I know (former Denver coach Vic) Fangio’s system. I can learn it really fast if he’s added anything new and then you know I’m a veteran corner so I definitely think I could go out there and fit with those guys,” Harris said. “Also. if they need some nickel work, go on there and play some nickel work, but I think that would be a good fit. “Chiefs, of course, you know them already having all the pieces, just going in there and ... being that last piece in the back end. I definitely think that I can help there. So, you know, it’s definitely some places that definitely could use a veteran presence.” Harris went on to mention the Houston Texans, too. “I know I can still cover these tight ends,” added Harris, a four-time Pro Bowl player. “If I got that call, you know, I might have to pull out of retirement for sure.” Adams told Harris the Chiefs should be the one team he wouldn’t talk about joining because of his long tenure with Denver. “Hey, I’m just saying what team would fit better at this time, that’s in a win-right-now (mode)?” Harris said. “You know, my Broncos now, give us like four years when (rookie quarterback) Bo Nix is ready, then it would have been perfect timing.”
  4. thank god he saw the light and brought in Carl & Marty
  5. yep, he had chicken shit to work with when he was here in KC, the last thing that front office wanted to worry about was football
  6. he could go into broadcasting as well, getting a ton of experience with his Podcast

  8. Buffalo Bills fans were not happy after the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. The Chiefs had swung a trade with the Bills and grabbed wide receiver Xavier Worthy. Buffalo fans couldn’t believe general manager Brandon Beane made a deal with the Chiefs, who have eliminated the Bills from the playoffs in three of the past four seasons. Former Cleveland Browns general manager Michael Lombardi agreed with Bills Mafia. Lombardi recounted the Raiders’ philosophy when he worked in the team’s front office more than 20 years ago. “I worked for a man named Al Davis, who you were not allowed to trade any player to the division or a player to any team on your schedule, so that was eliminated,” Lombardi said Friday on the “Pat McAfee Show.” “But in this case, to me, they (the Bills) had an opportunity to take a deal from New England. New England was in high-speed pursuit of Worthy. They wanted Worthy badly. They were making calls to get that pick. And Buffalo had them on the phone. And so was Kansas City. “And I think if you’re Brandon Beane you have to sit there and say, ‘Yeah, maybe Kansas City offered me a lot more but why would I give Worthy to them, who’s a weapon, who could be the next Tyreek Hill for them?” Lombardi noted that Worthy is 5 foot 11 and 165 pounds, but Lombardi believes Chiefs coach Andy Reid can get the most out of the rookie. Lombardi said the Bills should have made a deal with the Patriots, even if New England didn’t offer as much as the Chiefs. He recounted the Bills’ painful postseason losses to the Chiefs. “Why am I doing anything to help the Chiefs?” Lombardi asked. “Especially since I lost to them with 13 seconds, I missed a 44-yard field goal to send the game to overtime. I haven’t been able to get through that door to get to where I need to go to, so I don’t understand that. I would have been more than happy to give him to the Patriots who (are) working on a new regime.” Lombardi was asked more about New England being the team that the Chiefs beat out for Worthy. “They were on the phone with them,” he said. “That’s fact. ... New England made a substantial offer to them, and they took the Chiefs’ offer. I don’t know if the Chiefs’ offer was substantially more than the Patriots. ... The Patriots wanted Worthy. That’s a fact. And they tried to get him.”
  9. All This is nice but much like there are no trades between Division Rivals, i can't see SF trading with the team who has beaten them in the SuperBowl two times

  13. They may not have Tee Higgins if he holds out for trade demands and no Mixon either (traded). I am more concerned with the Ravens
  14. WOW, the Ravens & Bengals Back-To-Back to start the season

  18. local KC Radio suggests that the Chiefs will not cut him at this time, if they do so then how quick do you think buffalo, baltimore or other teams will pick him up?
  19. I wonder where are his family members right now, surely they could get the point across to him that he is throwing his career away by doing this stupid shit. but then you probably cannot tell him anything because he is like all the twenty somethings who think they know everything. two strikes and it ain't even the summer silly season yet😠
