  1. Deshaun Watson in the Texans FO after JJ Watt is Released
  2. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/02/08/carl-cheffers-super-bowl-referee/?fbclid=IwAR334A-lxoW-Sm-D4xdiW6Ig7Qv-47sWFJdmZcvNdx5LONK1UxZby2nLep0
  3. I think CEH would have been fine if he had not been thrown in as a starter right away, when damien williams opted out and since Darwin Thompson has not shown much the chiefs were left with no choice, the ravens had 3 capable backs and LJ to run the ball...so there was no pressure on Dobbins like there was for CEH in KC
  4. Chiefs lose the SB, Then Marty Passes and now this RIP Terez Paylor
  5. Man i swear, the Washington Post is straight TRASH https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/look-washington-post-criticized-for-marty-schottenheimer-headline/ar-BB1dxxOv?ocid=ientp but they have changed the Headline now....
  6. all i saw on another site was they are parting ways, it did not specify or elaborate
  7. I avoided the news because i knew it was going to be a brady lovefest especially on ESPN
  8. Former NFL head coach Marty Schottenheimer died Monday after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 77. Schottenheimer was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014. He was moved to a hospice facility near his home in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Jan. 30 due to complications from the irreversible, progressive brain disorder. Schottenheimer was a head coach for 21 seasons in the NFL, leading the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington and the Chargers. He posted a 205-139-1 career record, including the playoffs, leading his teams to the postseason 13 times. Though Schottenheimer coached in three AFC Championship Games, two with the Browns and one with the Chiefs, he never made a Super Bowl. His NFL coaching career ended in 2006 following a 14-2 season with the Chargers and a divisional-round exit from the playoffs. Hall of Fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson played under Schottenheimer for five seasons with the Chargers and called him "The best coach I ever had." "I never went into a game with Marty as coach feeling like I wasn't fully prepared to win," Tomlinson said. "He really wanted you to understand every detail of the game plan. I considered him a true All-American man. He was a great father figure and I was fortunate that my wife and I got to know he and [his wife] Pat beyond the typical player and coach relationship. He was a well-rounded human being. He cared more about the man than the athlete. I will remember him more for the life lessons that he taught me." Schottenheimer also played six seasons as a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills (1965-68) and Patriots (1969-70). He is survived by his wife, Pat, two children, Kristin and Brian, and four grandchildren. Brian recently reached agreement to become the Jacksonville Jaguars' passing game coordinator, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter, after previously serving as offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. "We know he is looking down on us from heaven and smiling," his daughter said. "We are so incredibly proud of the man he was and how he lived his life."
  9. i Heard him on 610 this afternoon...he said the obligatory comments about how this will be a learning experience for next year but then he said he was more concerned about being the best father he can be to his unborn daughter. This man's life is going to change again very soon and for the better
  10. i read somewhere that Reid was the LB coach, my bad
  11. BFD....we have to address weak spots on our roster like every other team...odds mean nothing at this point
  12. anybody who says that doesn't know shit about Football or sports in general. It has been said time and again on this board, we cannot keep waiting for Patrick to bail us out every game. We bet too many times and eventually it bit us in the ass at the worst possible time
  13. exactly the reason why it was worthless to pick up Bell this year, his running style will never succeed behind our crap Oline...didn't cost much but he was a waste of time invested much like mccoy was last year (he got TWO rings now for doing next to nothing)
  14. would you trust Hardman or Robinson? these guys are as good as they will ever be. Too unreliable, and i can throw watkins in there as well. did not hear his name till the 3rd Qtr and that is bullshit, this guy is just not worth it to keep around..too much time in the tub
  15. shit, the NFL saw tampa tom's record after the KC game and the word came down! they did not lose the rest of the season and that ain't because Arians is some kind of genius or Todd Bowles suddenly figured out how to coach defense....
  16. what is it about playing brady that makes our players line up offsides at the worst damn time Dee Ford two years ago to negate an INT Hardman yesterday which gave brady another shot at the endzone...
  17. sucks that we would never have had to deal with Hardman if the Hill drama had not happened , but it is what it is now
  18. Well we should have a NEW LB coach next season. I cannot see Clark allowing andy to keep his son around, and he should not be around. He needs to go to a clinic to dry out and kick his addictions (ok i will get off my soapbox now)
  19. the same philly sports talk that was singing his praises for winning last year, I think they have bigger issues for their NFL team Injuries are a part of the game but if they were rushing 4 and we kept a RB or TE in to double them, that is one less target down field. It is a lose lose scenario I am still happy that we went to back-to-back superbowls and hope we can keep this moving forward, just not happy that Tommy Boy won again
  20. Bell can move on as well, guess he won't get that payday he was looking for and i hope we do not re-sign him
