Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will indeed practice on Wednesday, but it will be a light workout, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Rapoport adds in his report that Mahomes continues to have no concussion symptoms as he tries to clear the league’s five-step protocol before Sunday’s AFC title game against the Buffalo Bills. Rapoport had additional notes to share on Wednesday morning's edition of NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.” Mahomes left Sunday’s AFC Divisional round game against the Cleveland Browns midway through the third quarter after a concussion evaluation. Earlier in the game, he had also appeared to possibly injure his foot. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is slated to speak to the media at 1:15 p.m. Arrowhead Time, when we could find out more regarding Mahomes’ status. Even if Reid is mum, the team will be required to list Mahomes’ official status in their daily game injury reports, which begin for the AFC championship later Wednesday afternoon.

he did not launch, i looked at the clip again and sorenson never left his feet, it really looks like when he committed to the play he did not know the WR was going to go lower as well...Bang Bang Play and there is no point to continue this debate...you have your opinion and Browns fans have theirs as well as do Chiefs fans...it was not reviewable so what is the point in banging this drum

i just watched the replay on Youtube and slowed it down as much as i could...his helmet never makes contact with the ground (but it was pretty damn close) but as he was coming down the combo of the defenders arm around his neck and the ball impacting the ground and what looked like his upper chest to neck area definitely had a lot to do with it

there would have been about between 1:10 & 1:12, assuming clock would have stopped on a turnover on downs, but the browns had no Time Outs

i probably got the most pissed and screamed at the TV for the first time all season when Henne threw that INT on 1st and 25....started to think about what i was going to do to keep busy with no Chiefs FB next week...

that is what i said yesterday, i think the ref was watching more where the ball was and where it was going at the point of impact etc...hard to take in all that was happening at that moment. but i bet the rule gets checked out extensively this off season by the competition comittee

I hate the defenseless player penalty, saw it in the late game where the offensive player decided to lower himself when the defensive player was coming in low ...end result makes it look like targeting when it was not.

most times you try to get the defense to jump offside in this situation, when it fails then you call TO and punt to pin them deep...so yeah to give a team a short field if it did not work could have blown up in Reids face and we would be talking about the off season right now
