    That's great because Denver don't have shit to give up... so they may very well give EB a look. He's familiar with the AFC West, and he's familiar with the KC playbook which I'm sure will be exploited. Fingers crossed.

    Imagine if the Chiefs FO would have been smart enough to hire Cowher as HC when they had a chance... Marty was great... but Cowher was a step above IMO... they should have found a way.

    Didn't mean it to sound like a slam on Karlaftis... but that's how it came off my keyboard. Karlaftis is killing it. Far beyond expectations. They both are benefitting from Jones getting double/triple teamed... yet in spite of the attention he gets... Jones is already at 12 sacks... he's on pace for 14-15 depending on how far we get in postseason.

    Everybody has their best game against the Chiefs. Don't know why, but it always seems like we can turn a backup QB into an all-pro starter. That wasn't the case Saturday, thankfully. Hopefully the defense is making strides and gaining confidence as the season progresses.

    Meh... he's making damned near Chris Jones money and for that we're getting George Karlaftis production. Of course we all appreciate every helpful play... this is a Chiefs forum. Nobody's rooting for him to suck. I don't get too high or low on any player... I just expect a players' play to be representative of the $$$ they are earning. That hasn't been the case for the last 2 years.

    To all those who thought we were getting a break from the refs yesterday... and I am one of you... we didn’t really get a break. Penalties: Seattle 6/35 KC 5/39 It just SEEMS like we got a break. We’re so used to getting hosed, it feels like we’re getting away with something when it’s even. That’s how bad it’s been.
