  1. with bosa and mack, Chargers are now a legit threat in the AFCW. c'mon Veach work your magic.
  2. They're in the same spot the Chiefs were in for three decades. Just good enough to not have a shot at the best ones, and when they did they blew the opportunity. I'm sure they looked at the next few years' worth of college QBs and there isn't enough there to peek their interest, at least, not in the next year or two. AH is right... if they're marketing the franchise to sell, Wilson gives them a quick, pretty paint job. Makes them a contender now, easier to sell. But in 3-4 years they gonna need a new paint job and some foundation work.
  3. Rodgers is very comfy in the worst division in the NFL. He wanted nothing to do with battling Mahomes and Herbert twice a year.
  4. I heard the Chiefs have strong ties to Munich... not sure where I heard it but it seemed credible.
  5. Always suspicious when the first thing in the article is 'hey this is all facts and here is a complicated explanation of where were get our facts' that said, nothing in that story was implausible... except maybe the 'play calling is in EBs contract so Andy couldn't override' part meltdowns like what we had in the AFCCG do not happen to a well-oiled machine they happen when there is dissent and confusion Locker rooms are fickle places... dissent can create teams within teams which is never good
  6. Players do talk. Coaches and equipment managers talk. This story doesn't really say anything outrageous. It just says Patrick and EB don't get along. Which is not far fetched.
  7. There was nothing in that article that wasn't 100% believable. Not saying it was all exactly what happened, but I have always suspected a riff between EB and Patrick. The 'competitive prick' comment, a negative description which he used twice, always seemed a bit forced to me... as if he was trying to get in a jab. I hope they don't re-sign him. Key players need to respect their coordinators. Would be a shame to keep him around because 'optics'.
  8. I was surprised it wasn't Creed too... but the team votes on this award so there could be some internal politics playing I'm kinda glad it was Bolton because it will put more pressure to keep him in for every snap next season hopefully
  9. Act like you been there. That's all I ask, and it ain't much.
  10. I think his behavior in November gave their defensive backfield extra motivation. And it showed.
  11. Sorry I disagree... rule #1 you don't give fuel to your enemy... How did it feel watching this last February?
  12. exactly... Hardman has no right to trash talk from his couch I understand why he did last night, because apple is a trash talker too but Hardman needs to STFU just like Hill
  13. That's the point... early in the game, Hardman and Hill were both talking it up with a 21-3 lead... which is what fueled apple we saw it happen last year with Hill against TB during the reg season... then we saw him get shut out in the SB by the same people he was pointing at, who mocked him on the biggest stage yeah these guys are professionals, but they take shit seriously and trash talk motivates people just keep your fucking mouths shut... act like you been there that's all I ask
  14. definitely Chiefs-related Apple getting toasted by the entire league, just like he got toasted by Cupp. This is why you don't talk shit. Real champions don't need to talk shit. I wish Hardman and Hill would learn, but I don't begrudge them for getting their revenge, because Apple was classless:
  15. Hill (and Hardman) need to quit being little bitches... two years in a row they been shut down in big games after talking shit. For the love of God, we know you're good... keep your fucking mouths shut and act like you've been there.
  16. Back to the initial post... on what the fuck happened in that 2nd half: WHAT CHANGED? At first, it looked like the Bengals were going to get run off the field by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game. The Chiefs hopped out to a quick 21-3 lead by the end of the second quarter and didn't seem to be slowing down. The Bengals couldn't seem to do anything to stop Kansas City. Eli Apple, in particular, got absolutely toasted multiple times and the Chiefs' receivers were just running free downfield. And then it switched. Kansas City totaled just 83 yards in the second half and overtime, including just *16 passing yards* from Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs went from looking unstoppable to getting absolutely shut down. Apple went from getting toasted to offering Tyreke Hill and Mecole Hardman Super Bowl tickets. It was absurd to watch, but according to Apple, the comeback was actually pretty simple: the Bengals knew what Kansas City was going to run, and they were pissed.
  17. You should just tell her what I tell mine... "Don't worry hon. This won't take long, did it?"
