  1. 1a. Bills @ Chiefs from a pure excitement/important game standpoint (nothing will ever top the comeback drive with only 13 seconds left vs #1 defense) 1b. LIV (from a "come from behind to reach your ultimate goal" standpoint) 3. Texas at KC 2019 playoffs "come from WAY behind" victory 4. MNF Montana beating Elway
  2. I've always considered your posts eloquently redundant.
  3. What blows me away is his growth this year. I had no idea he could actually GET BETTER. After a hell of a rough start, the kid definitely showed signs of losing confidence. I don't blame him... running for your life can do that to a guy. But ever since teams started going more cover-2, taking away the deep threats, he's learned to see the field better and take what a defense gives. Once they are able to peck away 7 or 8 yards a pop, defenses must start adjusting, and that's when things open back up for him. His 4th Q and OT performance Sunday night were LEGENDARY. It's hard to see that now, so soon after, because frankly we're still shell-shocked by it. But he simply marched us down the field right when it was needed, and did so against the best defense in the league. Imagine having 13 seconds to drive 45 yards against the #1 passing defense, and doing it in two plays with 3 seconds to spare. In his last two drives, when needed most, Patrick went 8-8 for 113 yards, in less than 5 minutes. Talk about peaking at the right time. Holy smokes.
  4. Refs helped cincy... a LOT Chase made some great catches but some of them were LUCKY... They'll be formidable no doubt, but there ain't no way they're gonna light us up like last time. Buffalo's offense was much better this season than cincy's
  5. That crew is pretty good. “Hello boys, this is tighter than a gnat's ass stretched over a rain barrel.“ Bill Vinovich on the Damien Williams TD review in Super Bowl LIV
  6. The walk out of the stadium had to be brutal... The Long Mile.
  7. Buffalo had the #1 defense in the NFL, and the #5 offense. On paper, this team should have dominated Sunday night. Pittsburg's defense was respectable, in fact it was the ONLY reason they made the playoffs. Only 5 teams in the league have a worse defense than KC, and without Mathieu and Fenton, we likely have the worst defense. Patrick's regular season RTG was barely above average at 98.5. Surely because of the rough start. Patrick's playoff RTG... vs two of the better defenses in the NFL... 131.7 131.7 vs the top defenses in the NFL After the Buffalo game hangover, I'm just sitting here trying to wrap my head around that.
  8. Stupid question. When Buff had 4th and 13, why was Jones on the bench? Was he tired?
  9. rewatched game today, and on that last buff TD drive, there were two blatant holds... one on Reed and the other on Jones the refs weren't calling much yesterday which I can appreciate I guess
  10. Well the cameras zoomed in on a lot of those buff fans right after the TD at the :13 mark... lot's of 'game over' celebrations it was glorious
  11. roger that... It just seemed like there were a shit-ton of blue jerseys in the stands... hadn't ever seen that many opposing fans
  12. Allen is a fucking fullback... that dude is hard to bring down... period
  13. I'm saving this post for eternity. maybe he wasn't useless... frank had two tfl's but in rewatching the game, there are lots of plays where he isn't going full out when you're making those kinda bucks, whether you perform or not you'd better at least have your motor revving for 60
  14. That sack was Ingram. Clark came in and basically handed the ball back to Allen. Clark had two tackles.
  15. So it was pretty much normal? I guess the blue just stood out in the sea of red
  16. Speaking of the Chiefs shooting themselves in the foot yesterday and still beating a very good team... That sack and strip that Ingram had in the first Q, that Clark (fuckin' Clark) ended up kicking right back into Allen's hands as he was falling to the ground... That would have given us the ball on the Buffalo 46... instead their punter puts it down on the fucking KC 1. We would have for sure gotten three out of that had that ball not LUCKED back into Allen's hands.
  17. Reese, did you go? Reason I ask is it seemed there was a lot of blue in the stands. Were there that many Buffalo fans there? Cause man o man... that ain't right...
  18. We played arguably the best team in the league (besides the Chiefs) yesterday. And we came out on top even after we made a ton of mistakes, left 4 points off the board, and did so without two of our best guys in the secondary. Not sure this Cincy team is better than Buffalo. Burrow is GREAT. Chase is amazing and so is Mixon. And they have a pretty damned good defense. But in the reg season game, some of those completions to Chase were flat out LUCKY. Also the refs were horribly unfavorable to the Chiefs while giving carte blanch to the bengals. We'll be a different team on Sunday. The Bengals will be worse.
  19. Let's hope clark doesn't phone it in like yesterday fuckin' overpaid fuckety fuck
  20. If he doesn't stumble on the punt return, he scores. I wish he'd quit taunting tho... last year the Bucs used that as motivation
