We've never really seen what Justyn is capable of doing... I think this kid is a potential stud and if he ever gets healthy this is a guy who Patrick might could turn into something. Richie might could be a surprise too. This guy doesn't have blazing speed or size, but he fits right into Andy's playbook with his running ability. He might not be a great route guy, but he's terrific on jet sweeps, reverses, and motion plays etc which we all know Andy loves. Watson is a solid #2... and seems to be developing a rapport with Patrick though he wasn't used much. Not having him in the AFCCG definitely hurt us.

Yep. That's why I hate it when the pundits constantly talk about how Patrick is a team-friendly guy and that the only way to win championships is to be willing to make sacrifices. This is how Brady was able to become the GOAT... but it wasn't commonly known how much he worked behind the scenes to help his team. Now that patrick is doing it, seems like it's all the pundits ever talk about... going so far as to quote Patrick saying "I have enough money. I want Championships." Best thing that could happen is Burrow, Allen, Herbert, and Lawrence all go for the big bucks.

not necessarily pushing for clark... if you were paying attention this season I was one of the few giving him hell there are quite a few edge and interior DL guys still available... clark has a ton of rings... but there are others who don't, and might could work cheap.

Well, I'm no Clark defender by any stretch... but I think adding to our DL could get us to a top 5 defense. With a great defense, MVS, Moore, Toney, and Kelce will make a formidable offense, with Rice as a solid backup. When we lost Reek I thought our O was in for a backwards step. Instead, the passing offense improved in almost every category. This is why I'm not sure we need to overload on weapons. The defense on the other hand...

At the same cost, who could help us more? I'm not certain DHop could help us more. I'm open to convincing.

I've always liked him. He hasn't sucked. Which is kinda important in a defensive back.

Of course his agent is pushing for max... that's how THEY get paid. But Jones still has a mind of his own. Hopefully, it's like Patrick in that regard.

Just because it hasn't been published in the press doesn't mean significant progress isn't being made... that said I agree... if Jones is insisting we bring Clark back, he needs to put up.

It's such a tough call. Do we have faith in the current WR room, and if so would it be better to shore up our defensive line? We know Patrick can take average WRs and make them above average. I think we have a pretty solid lineup right now. If we can get a little stronger on the DL... if we can reduce opponents' points per game... I like our odds a whole lot better. Not sure how much re-signing Clark (or some other available defensive lineman) will reduce opponents' total scoring, but these 'whomever gets the ball last' games are kicking my ass.
