  1. I don't care about his tiddies... I just want someone to catch the ball.
  2. Who said Veach is done? I don't want him trading up for a WR but that doesn't mean he won't. Personally I think there are more pressing needs at OT and this year there are a lot of quality guys, some of which will be around in the late 1st. This would be the year to pick up a LTOTF without it costing a lot. IMO he will absolutely draft a WR. I just don't think it will be early. Of course I'm projecting my opinion on our needs into my hopes on draft day... but my opinion has about as much weight as anyone's in this forum... which is jack shit. Veach will do what he does.
  3. We're fine at WR. That doesn't mean we won't draft a good one... but I'd be amazed if we used a 1st or 2nd rounder on a WR.
  4. Agree. I'd be surprised if they buy slots for a WR. They can still bolster the WR room in the draft. We still need OT and Edge.
  5. Shannon is a pretty cool dude. But man o man did I hate him back in the day. I mean like REAL HATRED. Especially when he got DT to lose his temper and flagged for personal foul in a humiliating loss.
  6. If you can have a couple pints of that beer in one sitting, my hat is tipped to you Sir.
  7. I was counting rds 4 - 6 as day 2 because that's how it used to be. Smartass.
  8. There are always 'gems' found in the later rounds. There may not be many, but they're there. Andy knows what he wants... that's why I think we'll find at least 2 second-day gems... maybe 3. I'd love to see them find a WR, S and TE on day 2.
  9. What is this IPTV you speak of? How is the picture quality? I once tried Sling (internet based programming) and the picture quality SUCKED even with high speed Xfinity cable.
  10. Thankfully, in our market there was really only one game where they didn't have KC playing last season. Back in the day when we didn't have Patrick, we'd be lucky to see 5 games per season. The fact we're a perennial winner and we have the most exciting and dominating player in the NFL has changed things for the better. When they aren't on local or cable, I'll catch limited live action on RedZone. Screw the Ticket.
  11. I'm all for everyone thinking Burrow is better... especially since the Bengals are going to have to find a way to pay for "the best QB in the league." Yeah. Go for it. I did like this though: Mahomes sack percentage is 3.9%, while Burrow is at 7.5%. Burrow loses nearly half a yard more per sack as well. Mahomes has rushed for 753 more yards than he has lost in sacks. Burrow has been sacked for 343 more yards than he has rushed. Burrow's turnover rate is also more than 20% higher than Mahomes. QBR ain't the be all end all, but it does look at every dropback and/or run. The best Burrow season is 58.7, the worst Mahomes season is 62.2. Burrow has lost 1 more game than Mahomes, and has a tie, in 38 less games started. I have said this before, but the only two things Burrow might be better than Mahomes at is smoking cigars and wearing shades, and he might not be as good at the second one.
  12. e's got a whole nuther batch of fans to impress in ways other than his play. Get the fans on his side, before he allows DEs to put burrow on his back.
  13. Always liked that kid. He and Bell make an outstanding team.
  14. Guarfuckingteed it's the agent... they talk to each other and know what the other clients are asking.
