The kid can still block like a mofo... knows the playbook... Patrick likes him... and he can take that dump-off pass on a blitz across the LTG. If they're hurting for bodies I'd take him for another year... even if it's in a limited role.
If FAU can start realizing his potential this season... look out. More frequent pressure on the QB means less pressure on the secondary and LBs... which will help alleviate the pain of losing WG and LS.
Just watched the SB replay from this year... for like the 4th time lol... have been thinking about the rare holding penalty they called on McDuffie in OT. Jennings had him on that play... big time. Had he not held him up, that play could have gone to the house because Reid was committed. Purdy had time... he actually pumped but since Jennings was delayed their timing was off. Ultimately that gave the DL time to get to him. That holding call gave them a 1st down but also meant they had to push the entire field which ultimately worked out as they pushed all the way to the 5 and had to settle for the FG.
McDuffie is the man. And I agree with Kittle... he's got a great last name.
Then things gonna get REALLY spicy. This is a super competitive team... young defense, veteran offense... man o man.
On another note, this offseason went by pretty damned fast... we're just a few weeks away from preseason games...
Playing into February and winning SBs has its advantages.
Weren't Nick Lowry's numbers equal to if not better than Stenerud's? That Nick isn't in the Hall is a travesty. Dude was MONEY... and only played 10% of his games in a dome, unlike both Anderson's and Vinatieri.
