  1. He could do that in the morning immediately after a cup of coffee and a bran muffin.
  2. Could be... my guess is they offered him a prove it deal and his agent found greener pastures. I think Veach had his highest price and wasn't willing to spend more.
  3. Hate to lose him... but he hasn't been worth 6.5... how are the jets gonna pay a QB?
  4. NY has pretty much everything BUT a QB. Buff might have gone from the NFL's best defense last year, to the worst one next year.
  5. There's a lot of lines to read between... sometimes it's not just about performance. Sometimes it's about fit. But there's something going on.
  6. I wouldn't mind if we tried to get him one last year. His injuries this season were not his fault.
  7. Ranking AFC teams after the first wave of free agency CBS Sports: Now that the first wave of free agency is out of the way, we thought now would be a good time to rank every team in the NFL, so that's exactly what we're going to do today. Actually, I take that back, we're only going to rank the AFC teams today. We'll get to the NFC teams later in the week. With that mind, here's our post-free agency rankings of each AFC team, courtesy of Jordan Dajani: 1. Chiefs 2. Bengals 3. Jets 4. Bills 5. Dolphins 6. Jaguars 7. Chargers 8. Ravens 9. Broncos 10. Browns The one thing you'll instantly notice about these rankings is that Jordan has the Jets at No. 3. I should note that Jordan made these rankings assuming that Aaron Rodgers will eventually be playing for the Jets. Even if that's true, though, I'm not even sure the Jets would be the third-best team in their division with Rodgers, let alone the entire AFC.
  8. Would he still cost as much if we removed an 'N' from his name?
  9. Rewatch the AFCCG to see the importance of long WRs who can battle for the ball.
  10. There are plenty of receivers who could come in and immediately contribute... we're just never in a position to draft one. So yeah, over the season you're probably right... easier to remember games SKYY had some big performances in I suppose. He'll be a stud for us in the coming years. Likely this year.
  11. depends on what system they came from... the right guys could contribute right away... Skyy wasn't too bad... but he was a fairly high pick.
  12. Pretty sure they have a plan. Nobody left in FA, so they either draft a LTOTF or they make do with what they have. I think they move up... or at least try to.
  13. That's good info... but every year is different... different # of quality LTs, different # of teams with LT as their #1 need, etc. I still think we can pick up a good one by trading up. The question is how much draft capital are they willing to spend.
  14. He'll blitz both... w/o getting predictable... Those stats lining up with Kuechly are not to be dismissed... Kuechly was a stud... likely Hall of Famer.
  15. Wouldn't surprise me if all the stud OTs are gone by 40.
  16. Here's what Zeirlein said about Creed: "Very average athleticism, below average length, does not generate movement in the run game and will be more of a steady player than a star." I trust Veach & Co. KC has had very good luck with lineman from OU on both sides of the ball. Creed was undervalued, and IMO so is Harrison. Any of those four would be good... hell even Dawand Jones could contribute... but he's a 2nd round guy so KC likely won't look at him. This is a good year for OTs, and I bet Andy/Patrick/Veach know who they want and can make it happen.
  17. He played pretty good against us last season. He's solid... will be a big time contributor.
  18. We should pick up an affordable FA WR for depth... but honestly we don't need a splash. I like our chances in the draft. We have Toney, MVS and Moore. Toney is killer if he stays healthy, MVS is steady eddie... but the best is yet to come with Skyy... that kid has talent and will be surprising a lot of people this year. He fucking killed the Chargers. The WR room is a little empty right now, but they can draft a good WR and then pick up someone like Justin Watson... he did a good job for us and honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing him back in the red white and gold.
