  1. Ok it might not have been the best example. I was trying to use an 'average type receiver' which I think at the time, Sammy was. So let's go with the obvious. We lost the best receiver in the NFL last year, and did BETTER this year with more yardage, more receptions, longer avg yds per catch, leading to us WINNING the SB. Methinks we'll get over losing JuJu. On another note... has there ever been a point you've conceded? Ever? I mean JEEZUS MAN. For the love of God... learn to take an L every now and then.
  2. Wasn't he injured a significant part of the year?
  3. But that could have been any average NFL receiver Jet. When they're doubling (and tripling) up on Kelce, and holding a S back to stop the deep threat, it's kinda the job of the receivers to get into the open areas vacated by the scheme. I don't think JuJu brought anything more to the table than Sammy Watkins did in SB LIV. Yeah, both played CRITICAL roles... both contributed to the W with big plays. I thought losing Sammy that next year would hurt. It didn't. Losing JuJu next year won't hurt. I. V. W. T.
  4. Yeah I'm SURE they estimated his value wrong, because a few internet football forum experts estimated it right.
  5. I gotta say I don't pity cincy... now that OBJ has his pockets full, I'm wondering what will happen to his performance. I mean, he was OK this year and played decent in the playoffs... but he knew from the git-go it was a contract year and I'm thinking he played his very best. T'will be interesting to see how he plays this season with a full belly.
  6. Use a TE in the FB position... I mean... we line them up everywhere anyways.
  7. He didn't suck... I remember a time when he was injured... we were clamoring for him to get back... of course that was with Sorenson, so...
  8. God bless him. Wishing him the best in his next adventure.
  9. I'd love to see the Chiefs give Houston a Tunsillectomy.
  10. Well... for this year, anyway. When you're always picking low because you're a perennial champion, you need nonconventional thinking. I could see them spending additional money for an existing LT... or dealing draft capital to get their LTOTF. Patrick's injuries likely put a bug up their ass to get serious about the OL instead of converting RTs trying to save $$. If anyone can pull it off, Andy/Veach can. Our defense is young and much improved. We already have a solid running attack. We have a good (not great, but respectable) compliment of receivers with promising rookies. As Patrick goes, so goes the team. Give him what he needs to cement his status as GOAT.
  11. That will come in handy at least twice a year
  12. They have money to burn what with the incredible deal they made for Wilson.
  13. Bengals lost both safeties... Bell and Bates. Plus they gotta pay Burrow. That'll leave a mark.
  14. No no no. As a Wally Mart greeter, he'll show opposing defensive linemen exactly which aisle to find the QB.
