    True... but that's when you get into the 'rolling the dice' mode. Landing Taylor pretty much ensures our focus in the draft will be on edge and WR... just a guess. If the rumors are true that they're still chasing the kid from HOU to shore up BOTH sides at tackle, it places more importance on the draft for our other holes. I'd like to see Edge, WR, and hope they can pull a few diamonds in the rough to strengthen our secondary.

    It just says they didn't want to spend the capital on moving up for a LT they like... and there's other positions of need IE edge and WR that are more attainable. But yeah. 31 is not a great place for a LT this year.

    Yep... LT is #1 and Veach will need to do some juggling for sure. It doesn't have to cost every pick from this year... we can trade future picks too, and it looks like we'll have some with the potential FA losses we'll have this year.

    Possibly. But that won't affect comp picks much. We'll still likely end up with more FAs lost than gained.

    Not only does he have 11 picks from this year, he'll have compensatory picks (potentially 3rd rounders) from next year if Brown, JuJu, and Thornhill play elsewhere, which they will. You never know....

    Johnson is a franchise tackle. Veach would have to pull off a miracle to have a chance at him. Too bad too, because I'm kinda leaning with arrowhead on this more and more. We have a franchise QB... we need a young, long term force looking after Mahomes' blind side. Sadly, ain't gonna happen.
