  1. Well it's a crap shoot with ANY team. But with the Veach/Ried/Mahomes Chiefs, the odds like rolling a 7.
  2. I’ll bet you those in the later part of their careers do, absolutely. They’ve made bank for a while, and are likely willing to give a little up for a chance at SB immortality. Plus, don’t the players make more from the league for every post season victory? I know it ain’t millions, but it’s like 320k or something for all playoff games and a W in the SB. That ain’t nothing.
  3. When Hou opted for the FG on 4th and 1, they made a huge mistake.
  4. I don't see anyone giving up a mid-teens selection for a #31 and a smattering of 5th, 6th and 7th round picks. It ain't worth giving up a 31 and 63 either... at least IMHO
  5. Stroud is good... but I don't think he's quite in that category. He's not mobile but he's got a killer arm. If he gets a good OC and the right players around him, he'll make them into a good solid offense. Not sure they overpaid... Moore is meh... but they gave a lot to move up what... 8 slots?
  6. It's going to be an interesting Day 1 that's for damned sure. I'm seriously considering driving out to KC for it. Would be a hoot to watch the draft and load up on BBQ
  7. Yep... and in 2023 we're rebuilding but first things first Ryan Day needs to pull his head out his ass and get that michigan monkey off his back. If he loses a 3rd straight, they'll be calling for his head.
  8. He's a monster and I love the guy but I'm not sure he's ready for prime time yet, at least, to fill the role we need at T. He'll fall to some lucky team... but we won't take him at 31 and he won't be available at 63.
  9. They lost fair and square... but they still made it close in spite of losing so many of their starters. Imagine the Chiefs playing cincy or Philly without Pacheco, McKinnon, Kelce, JuJu, Toney, and Clark. Arguably the two best WRs in the NCAA last year were out. Harrison Jr was tearing GA's secondary up. We win that game if he doesn't go down.
  10. Uh, what are you talking about did you even read my post?
  11. No doubt. 63 is pretty much 3rd round. I'm hoping we can pick up a sleeper WR at 63 and grab a FA edge guy with experience who really really wants a ring. Maybe I should move this to the 'a guy can dream' thread.
  12. Gotta spend those welfare checks on something...
  13. Fuck that steroid raged asswipe. What a dumbass. I mean REAL dumbass.
  14. Oh man. He's up there running routes for Lenny. RIP to a great one.
  15. Welp it's always better to start dinner with a full pantry... then toss what you don't need. Not so sure Harrison and Mauch are level 2... because you never know. By most definitions Pacheco was level 4 and beat out a damned good level 1 selection. Hell we've had plenty of level 1 busts in our distinguished draft history. Can't wait to see Veach do some Veaching.
  16. You'd be amazed at all the brand new Chiefs gear I'm seeing all over NM of late...
  17. I tend to agree. We have a lot of picks, but don't have a lot of early round capital to entice a team to give up a mid-1st rd selection... without giving up quite a bit. With our recent success in the later rounds, I'm thinking we can do just fine with our current 1, 2, 3 and 4 in addressing LT, Edge and WR... giving us 6 additional picks to grab a late-round sleeper or two... ie Pacheco and Watson. Honestly with the success we've had, I hate to give up too many draft picks to gamble on a selection... but then again Andy/Veach did pretty good moving up in 2017. This year's draft is going to be a hoot. 1 - 31 2 - 63 3 - 95 4 - 134 5 - 168 6 - 209 6 - 217 6 - 219 7 - 251 7 - 257
  18. I never hit myself... I usually clear the foursome on the next hole over with my hook.
