We still got a half to play and we were down 10 to SF with 9 min left. We need Spags’ adjustments on defense and we need Andy to pull his head out his ass on offense.

Defense looks like crap... but we can make some adjustments. Running QBs are an extra element. My concern is the offense. After that first drive, they lost it. Kelce needs to stop dancing and start getting open. Our WRs aren’t even on the field.

Normally I’d agree, but injuries like that can hang around and be susceptible to re-injury. If Patrick isn’t mobile... he’s lost a good part of what makes him great.

Fuckin' pundits are still overwhelmingly picking Philly. Am I missing something? I mean... this is pretty much what all of them are saying... including NBA players and anyone else they can drag out there to blow minutes before the game: "Well, Patrick Mahomes is the 'Steph Curry' of football... he's the best at comebacks blah blah blah but those Eagles... man those Eagles are GOOD!"

I feel strangely confident too. Don't know why. I guess it's because we have been constantly hearing about the massive dominating Philly linemen on both sides of the ball. You don't get to the SB without surviving some battles... but I do think KC's schedule has prepped them for a championship better than Philly's. Having dealt with all those injuries to key players and still coming out on top vs Cincy proves we have the winning attitude needed to overcome adversity. Philly had a cakewalk in the playoffs... going against a beatable Giants team and a SF team without their QB. They haven't faced any teams like Cincy, Buff or SD and they haven't faced ANYONE like Mahomes & Co. Guess that's why I feel good going into this game. I'll feel better when Andy gets us out to an early 2 TD lead. Then he needs to keep the pressure on... it will force Philly out of their gameplan.

Oh, I'm not sayin' to run the ball like Marty. But if we're dropping back to pass 4 out of 5 plays, we're playing right into Philly's hands. Gotta be a serious run threat to be effective in the passing game. With a (relatively) full compliment of receivers, it will be mighty hard for them to double up on Kelce. Especially if they start going with multiple TE sets like the video you posted a while back. If Pacheco/McKinnon can eat some yards, it will keep their LBs off Kelce and open things up for Patrick. Really need JuJu and MVS to have a day. Getting Toney back is a much-needed threat to take the top off their safeties. I like our chances, honestly.

If they are practiced, they are planned. Those no-look throws aren't off the cuff.

It will take MORE than just Mahomes. We must get out to a lead, and stop the run.
