  1. It's a football discussion board. That's kinda what we do around here. SOS seems a worthy topic of discussion... mostly as these two weeks there ain't much to discuss. Except maybe injuries... but we picked the wrong HC to get reliable info on that... I mean, we could always talk about how racist the NFL is.... pick your poison
  2. I'd go with Mahomes over both... and I'm not homering... he is a cut above both of them in QB skills. Takes an entire team to win a SB... and it takes a great organization to win multiple SBs, let alone as many as Joe and TB12
  3. So we won't be seeing you on the boards until after?
  4. Before the season the experts projected the AFC West to dominate. They didn't. Pretty sure that affected overall SOS.
  5. Read the text above each chart... why are there two different charts if it was the final SOS
  6. So what date is that ranking? "Our Strength of Schedule Remaining rankings show the average difficulty of opponents each team will face for the rest of the season." The chart below isn't much better... as we still need the date of the ranking: "Our Strength of Schedule Played shows the current average ranking for each opponent that a given team has faced to date."
  7. That article, even though it was written on Dec 2nd, uses the PROJECTED win totals from before the season started. The AFC west tanked. The Chiefs current SOS is about 16th hardest in the league. The Eagles are next to last, so they predicted that one correct.
  8. I know one thing. I'm really enjoying hearing the contimued Lammontation of the bengals.
  9. He is, but Bil is the best. Not many have earned the security cleance to visit Area 52... ol' mex is one of them. Never got to see THE HAT... but just being in the same building with it for a few hours made me exceptionally clairvoyant for the next three hours. Too bad it wore off before I could get to Vegas.
  10. Who else in that group took us to an afc championship? One we could have won had a certain running back held on to a perfectly thrown football.
  11. You could be right but that's a mighty small sample size. Rutgers isn't exactly a football powerhouse, so his college stats might not be indicative of his true abilities. There's a reason Veach selected him and there's a reason he earned the starting position. Give the kid a little time to learn...
  12. It takes a while for rookies to learn to sit back and allow the line open up... that's what Priest Holmes was so danged good at. The Bengals have a damned good defense and I'm not so sure Philly is on the same level.
  13. I think Pacheco is gonna have him a game. I have a feeling our run game will be solid early on, and will open up the pass.
  14. Won't be easy... nothing ever is with the Chiefs. That said, have they faced the same level of competition. Their strength of schedule was like the 31st in the entire league. Those numbers are inflated IMO.
  15. Oddly enough, two of the three teams who bucked that trend were the Chiefs in SB LIV and the Eagles in SB LII.
  16. His drop off won't be steep as long as Patrick has a few respectable weapons. If we end up without quality receivers like we did against Cincy, Kelce won't have the numbers we're used to seeing from him.
  17. Yeah he did, but in fairness, they were able to keep their linebackers in because they didn't have to respect our receivers.
  18. It was clearly satire but the bungholes fans are swallowing hook line and sphincter
  19. See, that didn't affect them vs Buffalo. Because of the snow. The Chiefs were by far the better team that day... and a hobbled Mahomes was significantly better than a perfectly healthy Burrow, with weapons who had logged more tackles to date than receptions. So screw them Bengals fans.
