Both Sides have valid positions.... Chiefs are very smartly managed and VERY well coached. Chiefs are also talking about new stadiums and retrofits to arrowhead ONCE the Royals make their decision. Plenty of critical players need new deals next year.... It is all about cash flow and the Chiefs will stay inside their plan.....Jones signs inside the range they have allocated or could even get tagged again next year....facilitating a trade at that time. Net - Net...The Chiefs will do what is best for the Chiefs in both the short and intermediate term. Long term in the NFL is like 3 -5 years....lol

WR's have a ton of talent, but we don't have a "WR Room"...more like a WR China cabinet....geez. w

Is it better to be a HOF er and Be in the Ring of Honor - and become a KC Legend? or am I a mercenary? (This is the legacy thing Mahomie talks about ) What do we know about Veach? 1. He will truly do what is best for the Franchise.... 2. He will get Value for Jones in a trade. 3. He will keep it civil and professional throughout the negotiation. What is the Truth? 1. Jones is the CENTER of our Defense and will be for the next 3 years or so. 2. Guaranteed Money is what matters. 3. The Fans all want Jones to stay and love him as a player and he is perceived as a great team mate. 4. Getting a deal done is the best solution 5. Both Sides will need to compromise

I thought someone (Donovan or Hunt) said the Royals will make their decision in August. I also though one of the options is to retrofit Arrowhead and it will last another 25 years, that may or may not include a retractable roof.

Jones wants his well deserved payday.... Chiefs "apparently" want to pay him and get a "home town" rate that enables them to stay competitive. I am sure they are using MVPat and Kelcinator as examples. Both sides are "apparently" trying to do the right thing (IMO-Until I hear or see otherwise) and looking for a compromise. My only hope is that they get there quickly. w
