Predicting the Chiefs resigning Ju Ju was very good. Saying the Chiefs will ditch KT is pretty much universal at this point.

I think it is both.....KC has tried to set up Mahomes and Jones in a way to enable them to keep the critical young talent. Karlaftis and McDuffie start to show up soon.

I think Cris Clark said something close to this on RGR. Creed id being paid like a Ton 10 Guard vs as a Center....and once the full contract shakes out, it will be a good play by KC.

Jason Kelce called Creed the best center in the NFL and advised that Creed will end up being a Pro Bowler for many years to come.

There are plenty of details in that contract that have to be looked at. RGR had a discussion on it late last night. Trey may still be a Chief if he wants to be a Chief..... Solid work on Creed and yes, I am sure MVPat had a say....RGR looked at Chris Jones Cap Hit and Pat's Cap hit next year and agreed they could easily restructure to afford Bolton or Trey.....Time will tell.

I think after last year, the Chiefs in the Playoffs are a very different animal. Mahomes, Kelce, Jones and Pacheco just flat out exert their will when the game is on the line. My comment to all my Niners Buddies prior to the Super Bowl: The Niners have the better overall team, but KC has Pat Mahomes....I will take KC 9 out of ten times to find a way to WIN at crunch time.

13-4.....Similar ideas as others. Hard to predict game to game as its the NFL. I see us winning the West bu we may need to be 14-3 to secure home field. Baltimore, Houston and Cinci are my top concerns.

One thing to consider, I think Red Beard or RGR said it....the Chiefs back up CB's are long and strong and they can be very good in press coverage. This is not something that is abundant in the NFL.....There may be some value there and I expect these guys will see significant time Thursday.

Overall, the Rookies are looking pretty good. Seems Veach and the scouts still have their mojo. Pat Mahomes is the MVP of the NFL 10 x over. The guy is so special and he is humble. Love that kid. Getting Chris Jones back should help the run defense. Rookie LT played well Rice is essential to start the season.....The dude just balls. Worthy looked good. Wiley did fine. Noah Gray long snapping.... Punt God has a thunder leg....wow. Overall, good pre-season game. Lot's of questions answered.

Meh, I think it is way to soon to panic regarding the DB room. This "local writer" may just want some national attention. Most fans in the know are far more worried about our Rookie LT, our WR room and RB Depth. w
