Let's not confuse "discount" with "rational". What matters: 1. Patrick Mahomes is a gift from God to Chiefs Fans. He is thoughtful, mature and he loves Kansas City. 2. Patrick Mahomes LOVES to WIN. What the agent's comments means is that Patrick will "be smart"....the total amount of $$$ on the table is not his contract extension with KC. What matters is winning and that leads to even bigger and better things for him and his family. Frankly, coming from Leigh Steinberg..... this is great news. w

I am on a different page regarding Watkins... There is soo much to be said about QB's and receivers being on the same page. Hardman is still a year or two away. If they can get Watkins at a reasonable number, they keep him. I didn't really see the whole "taking plays off"...I think we all know absolutely everything these guys do is on film. You can't say Reid and Eric B are "Great Coaches" then assert a starter "takes plays off". Watkins' only issue is "staying on the field"....he made play after play down the stretch once was healthy. w

I think you get the deal done now....He loves KC and wants to win....the environment is perfect. Once he is extended, every free agent that wants to win, will be in town. w

This is where Veach earns his pay.... I think Mahomes and Jones are must keepers. Sammie will do a team friendly deal and could be kept. w

My Priorities.....If I am Veach 1. Chris Jones 2. Watkins 3. Williams.... I just think guys like Chris Jones are VERY hard to replace. w

The narrative was great because the play and the routes put the CB in a position that if he made the moves HE WAS COACHED to do, he was making the wrong choice. Brilliant plat design, amazing QB for knowing the situation and then EXECUTING..... Also, Tyreek is the #1 WR in the NFL. He changes absolutely everything. I love Sammie Watkins as well....The dude is a big game baller. w

One thing you guys should look for....There is a video out there that I saw that was super illuminating. Let me take you back....The Chiefs had just "completed" the 2nd and 15 to Hill. SF ask for a review. Mahomes could see that it was going to be ruled incomplete while he was talking to Eric B. on the sidelines......Mahomes asked "Do we have time to run Wasp"....he was asking if the line could protect him for a 4 second pass play. EB asked the Chiefs coaches upstairs if they had time....seconds later, EB said, yes. So, after the overturn, Mahomes goes to the huddle and and calls WASP.... The video then shows the last time the Chiefs ran WASP and it was against the Pats in the 2018 AFC Championship. The video then goes thru the play and shows his 14 yd drop back....Mahomes actually threw the ball 65 yds for a 44 yd completion.... Just AMAZING..... So it was not Andy Reid...Mahomes called Wasp and he put the ball out where he thought Hill would be.... w

Nah, Williams was great but the guy who took home the MVP trophy was the right guy. That said, I am a huge Williams fan. Great player. w

The Niners did not execute....and the Chiefs attacked. The Chiefs made adjustments, the Niners played it safe until they were forced to gamble with a mediocre QB. The Chiefs WON the Super Bowl.....The Chiefs ARE World Champions. False narratives will not fix San Francisco's issues. Also, I found it interesting that there were two 55's actually in the game, we only heard One guy's name called. w

I wonder if this is how the Bronco Fans Felt watching Elway? I wonder if this is how Dolphin Fans felt watching Marino? Colts Fans felt watching Manning? I do not know what the #'s will look like but I take Patrick Mahomes at his word. He Loves KC He wants to win He will get paid.... I think he will work with the team to get a fair contract and still empower the team to WIN. The idea of % of the Cap is a great way as an example. w
