  1. "Man o Man" to quote the great one.
  2. We overspent for those tackles....There was not a compromise in the front office mentality. There was a compromise in player performance.
  3. QB's "like Patrick Mahomes" do not exist. Based on NFL history, no one has been close to his physical and mental talent. Coupling him with Andy Reid was the absolute key to unlocking all of Patrick's talents. Chiefs fans are well past lucky. Go to as many Chiefs games as possible. We will never see anything like this again.......The only thing close is Jordan in the NBA and basketball is much easier for one guy to take over a game vs football. Mahomes does it time after time in the biggest moments. w
  4. I am not sure of any of the players other than the O-Line starters that are back.....But I am really sure that Veach, Reid and ultimately Andy Heck know exactly what they are doing on the O-Line now. After the Tampa SB disaster, this is one area that they will not compromise on. w
  5. It is not you Mex....It is nothing less than Glorious.....the past 5 years are a great payback for the 50 years of pain... 3-4 more Super Bowls (all against the Niners..) would be even enough for this soul
  6. Jeremiah is out of the mountains......Always bad news for the left.
  7. Betting against Mahomes, Reid, Spags and Veach is silly. Will KC Threepeat? No one can predict this as Its all about avoiding injuries and catching some breaks. What I can say is that only 4-5 teams have a real shot at a SB Trophy and KC has as good or better chance as all. w
  8. Source: Sharp Football Analytics Available Free Agent WR's as of May 14: Michael Thomas Hunter Renfrow Mecole Hardman Corey Davis Julio Jones Russell Gage Alex Erickson Lynn Bowden Randall Cobb Sterling Shepard Robbie Chosen Richie James Jakeem Grant Martavis Bryant WR shelf looks & smells like "fish market" leftovers at this point. Renfrow and Hardman should be cheap Thomas, Cobb and Jones have heavy tread wear
  9. 12 WR's currently on the Chiefs Roster (Source: Chiefs Website) Rookies: Brooks Hayek Washington Worthy Vets: Brown Rice Moore Watson Powell Ross Toney Remiggio Yes, the Chiefs are heavily counting on Worthy as a rookie.....and Andy is known for having rookies "work their way in" to snaps. Is Brown better than MVS? Everyone is very hopeful but we do not really know that yet. Also can Brown stay on the field all year? Watson is steady and is a "push" but he is what he is...a middle of the pack Receiver. Hardman is gone.....and K.T is not viewed "with confidence" by the coaches (This is a hole) Also we have the Uncertainty of the Rice Situation.(another Hole) .... Therefore, someone in this group needs to step up? Moore, Powell, Ross, Remiggio. Given what I see and the disastrous results from last year, we would be wise to get another Vet in here.
  10. Agree OT....Maybe someone will emerge from the pack of dudes "with so much potential". I would have thought that if they could not get on the field last season they were doomed.
  11. I don't know, he made some plays against the Bills and Ravens.....Had a TD in the Super Bowl. He is inconsistent for sure.
  12. While I love the fact the Raves and Bengals are the first teams to see the new World Champion Banner.....I would prefer to see Cinci late in the season for a bit more drama. w
  13. I think they were smart to sign him......He is cheap and Allen will be picking his brain about routes, scheme and "how would Andy and Pat attack this defense?" Buffalo has apparently moved back to the 2nd Tier in the AFC so signing a 2nd Tier WR makes some sense....lol
  14. Good Matchup.... It is going to be a fun year. We have seen great regular seasons and a pretty mediocre one....that results in Super Bowls. Frankly, with our Defense and Pat Mahomes.....It is a wonderful time to be a Chief fan.
  15. -agree OT....Play for the defending champs with MVPat over incentive $? Makes no sense.
  16. Lots of speculations....but the process needs to play out. I do not see this as a "Veach on the hot seat"...Once the guy is on the roster they are the care of the coaches with support from their team mates. Veach has the cap room to sign another vet receiver, although if we did not have these worries with Rice he could pursue a Vet LT. I have to say no matter how the process plays out, I am disappointed in Rice. w
  17. Rice is a typical youngster with money, fame and free time.....very difficult concoction to overcome without good friends and great role models....MVPat needs to take the kid under his wing.
  18. June will bring more free agents.... Rice is very immature and apparently a slow learner and He needs to find new friends for sure. That said, innocent until proven guilty....let the process play out.
  19. I hope they stay in KC. We really enjoy our weekend trips there in the Fall. 2nd Choice would be NW Arkansas.
  20. Fair? I am not sure that is Fair just using the NFL rules. Let's take a look at what he is convicted of or pleas to. Then, let's compare those "crimes" against similar "crimes" committed by other NFL Players. Fair criminal law penalties have to be reviewed state by state. Rashee should be doing his driving in Cali from that angle.
  21. I hope the TE pans out...He seems to have the right skill set. My hope is that Worthy and the Chiefs have a solid plan to put 10 lbs of muscle on him. I love the speed and his durability in college, but in the NFL Newton's 2nd Law may get him hurt. w
