SEMO, I think most of us can handle growing pains. What was frustrating is you could see it building as the game wore one. It was three straight possession that he wrecked our O. I'm not sure he got one chip during that stretch or at least not on the plays Hendrickson caused problems. Just seems crazy not to adjust. Oh well we won and hopefully his confidence isn't shot.

100%. So glad we got it. Ugly or pretty doesn't matter. Just a little concerning the O as it was suppose to be better to alleviate pressure from the D. Like you said its still early so lots of room for improvement. Hate seeing Kingsley struggle so much though. 2-0 though and both vs potential playoff contenders. Lets go Chiefs!

I agree there will be rookie mistakes but its going on three possessions that his guy is crippling our O. At what point do you line up a TE and have him help. Play after play, after play Hendrickson is in Mahomes lap and no adjustment in protection or calls. We are losing a game at this point because we can't get out of our own way with TO's and horrid play calling. D has to be gassed with no help from the O this half. Need them to step up one more time! Lets go D.

Hendrickson is the only one on D putting any pressure on Mahomes and we repeatedly leave Kingsley alone. Then he holds and negates a huge play. I know we gotta roll with the rookie mistakes but after last possession there should be a guy there every play to help. Max protect. Need some Mahomes magic.

Nah. Andy and Mahomes just can't take what D's, like Lou A, give them. 3 turnovers vs a good team that in all honestly is as weak as they will be all year with a bunch of guys injured. We just weren't mentally ready to play this game. We are still in it though and a TD here is imperative.

Almost called it. This D might not be as good as last year but they are opportunistic! Way to go D! Offense is just out of sync. Brown might be a bigger loss that expected. Lou A does call the best D vs Mahomes and Reid though. Always tough. We just don't want to take what he gives us and then we make a mistake or 3 and are forced to play into the teeth of that D. Will say would love to sign Hendrickson. Dude is a baller!

To be fair we got no pressure on Burrows. If CJ doesn't burst through the line or George doesn't get the edge our Dline generates little to no pressure. Would have been a big play to dial something up. Oh well its early and we are still very much in this.

Watson and Williams just can't seem to take that next step. Super athletic and Watson will make a great play occasionally but they both give up some big plays. Can't give Burrows that much time either. Spags going vanilla because its early? Oh well. O gonna have to answer. Lets go!

100% agree. Just hate losing when you gift them 10 of their 16 points. We don't even making it easy on ourselves we just gift them two turnovers in their territory. So frustrating. I know we will lose games but I would prefer to lose by the other team playing good enough to beat us not we helping them beat us.

Didn't entirely mean it like that. Meant that we had careless turnovers every week that made winning so much harder. The failure to do whats working if its boring or mundane instead of pounding the ball down their throat until they stopped it which would open those deep shots. Plus a few long sustained drives that featured the run would gas that D and open things up. We just make it so difficult on ourselves. Hendrickson is their CJ95 and we leave him along vs a rookie LT who has some struggles last week. Both plays Pacheco could have chipped him and still got in the flat. Oh well. We are still in the game and I'm sure we will look crisp after halftime. Go Chiefs!
