  1. Ladd McConkey would be amazing in our O. Dude just looks like it comes natural and him running a sub 4.4 40 was not shabby. I'd rather have him and sign a Hollywood Brown or Tyler Lockett for the deep stuff.
  2. Practically giving away good material.
  3. To me Chris is the worst, not sure why Ryan has him on. I listen to pass the time during the week, but they talk like they are legit evaluators but some of their takes I have serious doubts about. Seth, Josh and Nate have such good chemistry. The KCSN guys (Kent, Craig, and Matt) and Arrowhead Addict guys are the other ones I enjoy listening to as well.
  4. His RAS score is insane and that is with a 2.45 in weight dragging it down. RGR said he wasn't fluid and was just a bull rusher but I don't always know if RGR knows what they are talking about at times. Would love to pair him with Jones for a couple years and with his clone out until mid season would be amazing to see that NASCAR package in the playoffs Omenihu, Robinson, Jones, Karlaftis 😳
  5. Thus the reason you give the player and his agents the freedom to go find a deal. Wouldn't think that a deal they helped work out would be a deal that he would sign off on. The Chiefs are generally pretty player friendly in these situations. On KCSN, "Only Weird Games" podcast (which is amazing) Nate Taylor said there were 6-7 teams interested in Sneed. That is great for us. I would say the minimum is a mid to late 2nd and an extra pick if that many teams are interested. Also saw the Falcons interested. Maybe a Sneed for Pitts swap? In essence 2/20 for Pitts. Seems a little high for a talented yet very unproductive athlete.
  6. Wonder if he is wouldn't use this as an opportunity to get a little raise in KC. I'm sure he wants a promotion but he has mentioned that he is fine in KC for the moment because of his kids and family. He deserves a raise and a promotion just not sure there is a space for that promotion in KC. I'll be honest, I was more concerned about this report than about potentially losing Sneed.
  7. I think CJ thinks about it a good bit more than Sneed. One has already made close to 100 million while the other hasn't even made 10 million total. I personally think Jones wants to stay and finish it out here in KC but wants to be properly compensated. We three-peat, he has a big year, and he gets to 100 total sacks he might sneak into that first ballot conversation.
  8. He definitely checks all the boxes. Wouldn't mind drafting a DL with our first to pair with CJ (I have faith a deal will get done). Robinson would get a lot of snaps with Omenihu out. I know we have other needs more important but the more interior versitile pass rush the better.
  9. I hear Eagles as being a potential landing destination. Would y'all do a Sneed for DeVonta straight up? Would they? I feel like him being cost controlled would be a no on their end. Then there are rumors of AJ Brown not being happy. I know we didn't pay Tyreek but is there a scenario where we trade Sneed plus a pick (2nd round/3rd round/?) for AJ Brown? If they wanted to make a huge splash, pull off that trade and roll into next year with AJ Brown, Rice, X. Worthy, Watson, Moore, Hardman/Remigio/Ross?
  10. I think they could get more than the 2nd just keeping my expectations tempered. I think a 2nd is minimum.
  11. The players gave the owner an f- on willingness to improve the facility. It doesn’t take many As and Bs to bring that up to a D. It says across the board the players think he is cheap. Also being a good businessman doesn’t exclude him from infusing extra cash into a business that has exploded in profits over the last couple years. You can literally be both a good owner and spend more as the team succeeds. What the owner makes for long playoff runs vs what little the players earn he should have made good on his word to upgrade that facility. You are right that some of the other grades are pointless but that one in particular looks terrible for this team and should embarrass the heck out of Clark. This is further shown in his desire to make the commmunity foot 500 out of an 800 million dollar reno. Its a great org and he is a good owner but he is cheap!
  12. If you gave your word as a billionaire owner then completing late into the season to pad your pocketbooks shouldn’t be an excuse to not make good on your word. A few million to him is like a couple thousand to use. If you were a boss and your employees earned you 100,000 profit you could easily spend 3-5 grand to make their life better. That is literally the comparison money wise. He needs to stop being cheap. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We won’t witness this again ever.
  13. I think they are referring to the practice facility where they spend a majority of their time and were promised a renovation only to be told they played too long into offseason last year to get one. This team is on an all time heater and the owner can't make good on a promise to reward the team as a whole? That isn't a good look. It's been rumored he is a cheap owner, in that he doesn't utilize or infuse cash to help with cap issues but rather keeps the team on a strict cash budget. I'm not here to say that isn't a good practice but when the team you field has raised the net worth of your franchise by 100's of millions if not a billion over the last couple years then you ask for the community to pay 500million of an 800 million renovation or you would be willing to move across state lines.......then the perception of being cheap starts to stick. Its a black eye on him as the owner, on his family, and this organization. Doesn't help right before FA either. All those things listed listed could be fixed for little to nothing in comparison to the profit he has made these last couple years. I don't put a lot into these reports but being 2nd to last is not nothing either. Hire more staff for Burkholder, make that practice facility look like a 5 star hotel, and take care of your team's families. The players gave him an F- on the owners willingness to invest in team facilities. lol
  14. Thuney's contract has been worked over as much as it can. They need to get out of that contract in 2026 to afford the next wave of young players due.
  15. Yep and Chicago looks to be retaining Johnson so if you want a top tier CB its Sneed or Howard (who isn't top tier any longer). I fully expect Veach could get a 2nd and maybe 5th for Sneed.
  16. The Bengals will double down this year in at attempt to beat the Chiefs. They appear to have a ton of cap money but the reality is Joe's contract hits for 30 million this year and then 46, 48, 52. Chase will reset the market with a contract at or over 30 million per year. They will be competitive this year for sure as they have some money to spend but what made them legit SB contenders was that D playing very good football. They are entering new territory where they have to draft well and pick and choose. Can they stay top tier while balancing that out is yet to be seen.
  17. A lot on this board thought this was the move he needed to make. He got a rough draw in Washington. Hope he does well and gets a real shot at HC in the NFL. Not sure his style of in your face and accountability works well in the NCAA these days.
  18. Yes this is what I am suggesting. You get to work on a deal with CJ now. I know his agents what him to test FA but I think CJ wants to resign and if the deal is good enough 3/90 with close to 60 in guarantees he could probably overrule his idiotic reps. If not make a run at Justin M from the Ravens. A lot younger and way cheaper. This D has to have an interior pass rusher to work efficiently.
  19. I have gone back and forth all year but Jones is the priority. Would be great to sign both but this is Sneeds only chance to get paid and I can't fault him for that so you have to tag him. Then you see what someone will give for him. Lots of teams need a legit #1 DB and there are only 2 available. Get a late 1st or a 2nd and a mid round pick. Love Sneed but Jones is more important for this D than Sneed.
  20. He isn't even 30 yet. He could play 3 more years and be 32 when he is done.
  21. Chris Jones will be an interesting case. He is older and teams that are on the cusp or just starting to put the finishing touches on a dynasty and want to continue that run don't normally resign older vets to big deals. The rub is our entire D, IMO, revolves around him. Truth be told we are a better D if CJ is on this next year and Sneed isn't as opposed to the other way around. Yet Sneed is much younger and looks to be starting a prime stretch of 2-3 dominant years were CJ is probably on the down side and will be significantly cheaper. Karlaftis and Omenihu are very good players to have but they are high motor guys that take advantage of the opportunities that CJ provides. Same goes for the rest of the Dline. Our D won't be terrible with Sneed and no CJ but I think it'll suffer more than we want to admit. Just a tough decision. CJ single handedly wrecks drives and can take over a game. Not sure we have anyone else like that on our D. How do you replace that? Any chance Veach runs this back? Signs CJ, Sneed, and Dru. Signs a mid tier FA wr and then goes back to the draft for WR, LT, and TE? Feels like we take a step back on D to upgrade the O and get it elite again. Gonna be a fun two weeks leading up the freaking SB we are playing in and then a fun offseason as well.
  22. I will be the first admit I was wrong about Spags in years past. He finally has a defensive full of good players and he is doing an amazing job. So glad I was dead wrong. If we win the SB this year it will be in large part due to his D getting us there. One of the greats for sure!
  23. The playcalling went full on turtle and Pat wasn't going to have a turnover. I 100% believe that if Baltimore came back Mahomes would have marched down the field to win it. He wasn't even trying. It was a different way of winning like you said. Allow the teams strengths to lead the way this playoffs. I for one am glad the refs missed some calls on us (tripping in the endzone, massive hold on 4th and 1, and the horrible hold call that cost us a TD) so that we didn't win because of their help.
  24. I think you stop the run game, then Spags can confuse Brock enough. He hasn't seen a seconary like ours that can also bring pressure like our front. It will be a tough challenge for sure but I think our D can make enough plays to give our team a chance to win.
