Fair enough, but I wouldn't have taken it there. After re-reading my original post I can totally see and understand reese's comment. It whole situation is absolutely a tragedy. I was merely pointing out that Britt hasn't had his trial yet and could possibly get off which would be a huge relief to the Reid family at the chagrin of the victims family. I should have articulated better and I agree I don't think it has any bearing on the chiefs current situation. Britt has nothing to do with Pringle, CEH, and Mahomes fumbles or turnovers nor Hills butter fingers as of late.

Not sure if any of you check out Nick Jacobs on Twitter but he did some review of Clark and there some good reps in there. If coverage held up a sec longer he has a sack. His pressure rate is 13-14% range which isn't bad. In comparison....Mike Danna is at 3% qb pressure rate. I'm not saying he's remotely worth his contract but he's trying. He knows his legal issues and he knows he's getting cut. If he wants another reasonable contract he has to play to his best. Plus I don't think Clark is the type of guy to let issues like that affect his play.

I’m referring to the idea that his son might get locked up for a very long time. From Andy’s point of view (the point of view that would affect a team negatively) his son still has a trail. I’m not interjecting my feelings on the matter just merely stating from that point of view it’s not a trajedy yet. It is an absolute tragedy in light of the hurt he caused and if he indeed was drunk and or high then he needs to serve a lot of time. Last I heard the little girl has irreparable damage. Super sad and easily avoidable.

Hasn’t he been moved all over the field? He might have allowed some catches but generally he is in position. I still think he has a high ceiling and his floor is an above avg starter which for a 4th round pick is awesome!

I don’t think that’s necessary. Competitors like Mahomes are harder on themselves than anyone ever could be on them. He knows and I have faith he will get it addressed.

He’s not even gone to trial yet. Not a tragedy yet. It’s amazing what a good DA can do. His life isn’t over and while i used to think this might have effected the team…..I don’t think it’s even remotely the cause or reason. To many professionals in that building that would call that out or address it if it was truly affecting the team. Film reviews prove Mahomes is pressing, we are in the middle of a string of bad luck, and he is drifting to far back and missing easy opportunities. TO are adversely affecting this team far more than Britt Reid is.

Danna isn’t our best DE. He’s a great depth piece but he’s a high motor backup. Thankful for him and he is tremendous value there but he shouldn’t be starting for us. Also RB, LB which were needs are low on the positional value chart. Sneed saved this draft.

Absolutely agree luv. 1st round picks need to be for the top tier positions unless it’s a once in a generation player. WR, LB, RB, S, C, or Gs should be 1st round picks. DE, OT, QB, DB, and the occasional DT regardless of what is on your roster. Look at the Bills they kept stacking their Dline until they are loaded. Every elite D has an elite pass rusher. Can’t have one without it. I’m with you luv 100%

Actually Clark has a pressure rate of around 13-14% since he came back. Jones is similar at DT. Those are decent numbers. For all those clamoring for Danna…..it’s like 3%. Danna is a nice depth piece he shouldn’t be starting on any NFL team. He has coverage sacks so please don’t throw those up. We need another DE in a bad way. That is the one piece that would help this D the most. Saunders needs to play more, dude makes enough plays that he needs to be playing more than Nandi and Reed.

He signed for like 4 million….that’s not expensive imo. You are right about Houston but did we even reach out?

I liked this draft at the time and talked myself into a rb in the first was ok because of Clydes skill set but have since gone back to the truth that rbs in the first are horrible decisions. Regardless that draft has potentially landed us 4 future starters and one (current starter that should be depth) in Danna. That’s a good draft. Followed by a better draft imo considering we didn’t have a first rounder.

Well, he stopped reaching on his first picks trying to look smart and drafted the best players available with high floors and potentially high ceilings. He only really reached for Kaindoh but that was later in the draft. Hope he adopts this strategy moving forward.

1 top end pass rusher would rectify a lot for this team. The O, even with that abomination are on an historic trajectory. Frank has some moments on Sunday but couldn’t quite get home. Adding an top end guy on the other side with Jones in the middle would generate pressure and with Bolton and Gay coming on strong this D could get to middle of the road. Problem is, it’s a huge risk with future ramifications if you miss. Not making Ingram or Houston a top priority this off-season for the D was a major mistake.

Watch Kelce….got mugged all day. My guess is Mahomes was waiting for Kelce on a few of these and he never could get the guy mugging off his back for an easy completion.

We’ve gone up against banged up Oline a all year and not sniffed the qb unless we blitz. Spags won’t blitz until we are down and then only in the 2nd half. The O can’t take advantage of that D yesterday was embarrassing and unacceptable like you said. I’m gonna say it, Mahomes isn’t anywhere close to the player in the league right now…..not even close.

Shotgun to 3-5 step drops make it almost impossible for the tackles to block. This is on Reid and Mahomes. One of the sacks Brown got burned on Mahomes had a perfectly good pocket to step into and a release on the left side vacated by that DE. I hate to say it but Mahomes isn’t the best player in the league right now….might not be even close. He can be, but he is being restricted from doing what he loves and he is refusing to make teams pay. The longer this goes on the more he will see of this. Check out Mitch Schwartz, he is telling anyone who will listen on Twitter that those losses around the arc aren’t the tackles fault. I hate to admit it but he’s right. Mahomes holds the ball too long, refuses to hit his safety valve and when by chance he does check down to it he short hops half of the throws, and drops extremely far back which makes it impossible to block for him. We heard the talk about getting better we need to see it now. Dinking and dunking with this offense can be deadly. Kelce took a dink to the house, Hill ans Hardman can too. Time for Andy and Mahomes to stop being stubborn and quit thinking they are good enough to beat every coverage with the same plays. Time to commit to the run under center and quit trying these delayed draws. Run the ball, dink and dunk, eliminate turnovers and dominate!

One thing EB isn't is soft. Guaranteed we would get the running game going and people would be held accountable.

This has the feeling of a team that thinks they are so much better than others that it is beneath them to adjust their game plan to the defenses. That stubborness might cost them this season. We have been humbled and humbled by other teams and yet we haven't acknowledged the need to adapt. Yes, we have given lip service to the idea but we haven't bought in and therefore this team hasn't bought in and looks lethargic. Mahomes is amazing but if he doesn't mature and learn to take what he's given he won't ever reach the heights he desires.

but I see Zach Ertz go from Philly to Arizona and immediately be used and score a 50 yard TD. WR's for this team take 2-3 years to learn the playbook??????? Maybe simpler is better. Get your best dudes on the field on both sides and let them dictate the game for you. Its like Andy has for so long schemed lesser players into being good that now he has studs we handcuff them in those schemes and if Teams can figure out the schemes our most talented players are prisoners too it. Josh Gordon should be seeing the field and making contributions when the wr's infront of him are jags. I know people are bragging about Pringle but that play at the end of the game doesn't mean anything in comparison to the tip ball of both of his hands right in front of him in crunch time. By that same logic Henne should be playing more because he moved us down the field in garbage time. Simplify this crap on both sides and let the big dogs eat. If your front 4 can get pressure send pressure and let the chips fall were they may. If the O is being bottled up slant the living crap out of teams until they have to come up to help. No one in the league can stop Hill on short 4-5 yard slants out of the slot. Frustrating having to watch JAGS on both sides of the ball get a majority of snaps because they know the playbook but can't execute it well enough to be any sort of positive on the field.

Trade HB to a contender. Trade CJ if you could get a 1st rounder. Screw the Oline depth, if people are interested in LDT....ship him off. I mean CJ and HB didn't do anything this game. Ben Nieman had a better game than CJ and HB......that takes some major lack of effort to pull that off.

I think you give him the option of moving back to RT or let him walk and hope to recoup a 3rd rounder. Brown is bad but Mahomes has to step up into the pocket and realize the RDE has run past his responsibility and there is no contain so step up and then rotate out left if need be. Mahomes bails out right ever time and our wr's don't know how to get open. One play two wr's were 4 yards apart on the sidelines.......1 guy can literally guard both and 2 guys makes it a cluttered mess for the O. Where are the slants and outs and then double moves.....?
