This wasn’t a great game, but it was a great win. IMO it was just another game to our team outside of it being our home opener but this was a huge game for the Browns. It showed to start the game. Clark, HB, and Gay being out were huge losses vs a very talented team that loves running the ball. Juan took advantage today of the extra time and looks to be rounding back into form. Had two game changing plays. Bolton looks like a major upgrade for us at LB when he gets more exp. Oline looked pretty good vs a great dline. They weren’t perfect but they there were enough flashes that barring injuries this Oline is gonna be a force come midseason. Anyone else think CEH isn’t seeing the holes well? Looked like some good sized holes but either hesitation, juking or not seeing them kept him from breaking a few open? Almost feels like we need a back who hits a hole hard and fast instead of a patient runner like CEH. I might be way off just seemed like he would run into the pile a lot instead of hitting the hole. First game back so not overly worried…..yet. Ben Niemann might be the worst LB in league history. I don’t even blame Veach anymore. Spags loves the guy. He gets washed out of plays so easily it’s not even funny. It is 10v11 when he’s on the field. We need a #2 wr. Robinson won’t get it done. Mecole is a great gadget player but im having serious doubts he can ever be a viable option. Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill are HOF caliber players that are so fun to watch! Chris Jones is a one man wrecking crew. That Browns team is more balanced and far scarier than the Bills or Ravens IMO. That was a huge win and yes it was ugly but we took their best shot and didn’t come close to playing our best and got a win vs a divisional opponent that will not doubt be in contention for that bye.

It wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible either. Garrett is a bonafide stud. It’ll get better.

I thought he had to have two negative tests 24 hours apart. So technically he could test negative at noon on Saturday and then negative again on game day 1 minute after noon and then be able to play. I'm guessing if he had tested negative today we would have hear about it. IMO, not looking good for Sunday.

I've come to grips with the fact that Ben Niemann will be playing a lot of football this year for this team. And he will be utterly useless like last year. It stinks, but Spags apparently loves the guy.

I love the dude just seems a little sensitive at times when he replies to comments of us ignorant fans. I believe he is a good dude and he has every right to comment back. Maybe they kept Lammons in case HB doesn’t get back from COVID list in time so like you said he has far more info than I have.

I fully expect him to know more than us but that joker posts all sorts of garbage about his contract and other issues that aren't always true, so apparently he doesn't know everything either.

Well I do think their is some sort of gentleman's agreement with Dieter and it probably stems from Mahomes but lets be honest its not likely his spot is keeping a future stud from getting on the eventual 53. I'm more puzzled by Niemann than Dieter though.

Been saying this for a while. Niang looks like he could slide over and Thuney has played LT before. Not the best case scenario but what team has an above avg LT waiting in the wings. Most of those are getting paid to be starting LT's.

I agree that some records might get broke because now players will more than likely be playing 16 full games giving guys like Mahomes the chance to break some old records in the same time frame.

Benito Jones is another interesting addition. Might as well get used to our cuts being picked over by other teams.

Those listed are some of the first cuts. Last i checked it was down to 64.

Getting something from a guy who wasn't going to make the 53 and was a udfa is good business. I know its only a 7th but Veach has a way of parlaying those to move up and get guys he likes.

The point is they could have brought in guys to upgrade. KJ Wright is still a FA…….Niemann isn’t a young acsending player he is what he is and that is a good ST player that should never see the field and yet he starts and plays an unbelievable amount of snaps. He’s slow, weak, and even when he diagnosis a play he can’t get there fast enough to make it. I would also say Gay as a rookie with little experience and making constant mistakes offered more last year.

Had Henne not thrown a horrible int he wouldn’t have had to make that scramble. I’m thankful we had him last year but the truth is his Henne is most valuable as a veteran presence and another experienced voice in the film room. I feel like the need for that is less and less important the more Mahomes develops. I’m happy with Henne but I wouldn’t be upset to take a chance on Buechele.
