The picks were in reference to assumed picks gained in a trade not current players draft round.

I like Allegretti more as well. If we could get a 4th or 5th for LDT that would be incredible!

With all that said, I am with you that trading these guys for picks is what I hope they do. Veach seems to do great at the back of the draft and extra ammo to move up and around for two guys that I personally think have hit their ceiling would be awesome! I doubt the Chiefs feel the same way but getting something for guys who aren’t the future would be great. I

I’m not saying they wouldn’t trade guys but I think their purpose was build a line with quality depth and I just don’t think they are going to put guys behind this rookie right side that are inexperienced, changing a position or are rookies as well. I think they keep 10. Brown, Thuney, Creed, Smith, Naing Remmers,Wylie, Blythe, LDT, Long. While Long is on the PUP you keep Durant. I think Allegretti is the odd guy out or the trade candidate.

I agree there are options but after last year I think they would rather have two guys with experience on our Oline than some 6th or 7th round pick.

Also, LDT had a no trade clause.

Long is injured and Remmers aid battling back issues and Durant has been used exclusively at tackle IIRC.

I don’t think they part with either. If Smith gets hurt who is playing RG? I think Allegretti is an option

Would have liked to seen Antonion play in a preaseason game. Maybe he will be back if he gets healthy but my guess is he is done

Have we ever had a more talented roster? I’m starting to think by midseason barring injuries that Oline could absolutely dominate teams. The lb group has the potential to take a huge jump forward as well! Secondary isn’t loaded with stars but Ward is serviceable, Hughes looks to taking advantage of his change in scenario, Baker looks to keep getting better and better from his injury, Fenton is a steady and capable back up and that is an amazing 5th db. At this point the biggest concerns seem to be #2/#3 wr and Thornhill. We have the bodies at wr but none have seemed to take that big step forward but they are all steady and serviceable. A bright spot seems to be the TE depth. Many think Gray play terrible but he had separation on one ball thrown to far in from of him and Hennes pass on his back shoulder was another bad pass. I think the kid is a stud and is going to show out and Fortson has been showing out in camp. Nice to have some quality depth at TE for a change.

Yeah kinda feel robbed we didn't get to see many of their starters tonight. If Trey Lance is 80% as good as Mahomes in Shanahan's offense that will be a scary offense.

I do get why they are excited but that long TD was a bone headed mistake more than an electric throw. Devon Key was lost on that assignment as Hughes passed off the wr. Not sure why he was coming to the middle of the field. The game pass guys are 49ers broadcasters and are surprisingly not horrible to listen too but their love affair with Lance after that first half has calmed down a bit with two should be ints.

He hasn't looked like Mahomes 2.0 either though.

Long sustained drives are back breakers for the D. This Offense with an upgraded Oline should be able to enforce its will however they want. No more dropping 7 guys into coverage without major consequences.

Bodes well for Jones that Reed, Wharton, and Saunders seem to be having good camps and Nnadi is always going to be solid. I'll be interested to see Mecole, the LB's, the Oline, and Sneed.

Odd he doesn't make it a 40 yard dash.......No way Hill wins a long race but I think he gets Bolt in the 40. Also waiting until right after the season to race when Hill is tired and potentially dealing with nagging injuries is a big sus. I think the best thing would be to race a 40 and then a 100.
