Im not sure if I agree. They have quite a few free agents that are gonna want to be paid. They aren’t returning that same group. Their qb is 44. Time is undefeated. Will they be contenders? Maybe. But why not play for a team that’s been there twice in two years and he has personally seen dominate with a healthy Oline. Tampa, KC, nor Pitt have any money to spend so if he’s going any of those three places he’s going cheap....like dirt cheap. Would love him here!

He is long in the tooth but always an above avg center. Would be nice having a vet to call out protections while we develop some younger guys. He shouldn’t be expensive either.

I hope they work something out for Taco. Baker is intriguing and so is Alex Brown.

Our D didn't get killed hardly at all last year and that is with the worst LB crew in the NFL. Why is that? Because normally our Oline is healthy or good enough to force team into scoring with us. It would have been no different on Sunday had Fisher not got hurt. Yet teams with 2 good edge rushers and good inside push are the only teams that give us problems. Crazy how bad our LB's have been yet we were and offside from going to three SB in a row. Brady didn't do crap in that game until we went offsides and he got bailed out by refs and Andy calling a TO and chucking up a ball hoping for a flag. Hitchens and Gay are sufficient at LB then add a mid round coverage LB or a S/LB hybrid that can actually cover. You stop putting pass rushers up front and it will compromise everything behind it. Had our Oline been healthy they would have never been able to run the ball like they did and even then they scored a whopping 10 points in the 2nd half. A first round edge rusher allows us to move on from Frank in 2 years. It also maximizes that front 4.

Out of the two options I'd rather pay Trent and sign another OL/OT in the first.

Yes and a run first offense creates easier opportunities for wr's on play actions as the defense is more concerned with the run game and the qb. Also Brown is the #1 wr in Baltimore. Hardman is #4. Try again. Comparing your #1 wr to our #4 and acting like that's a plus is very telling.

I guess what bothers me is Andy and the team in general are classy winners and losers. They acting and talking as if they played a full strength KC team and whooped us. The talking heads act like Bowles figured out this O. No one has figured out this O. We had no Oline. We had key drops that ended drives. They got 50% pressure rushing 4 dudes and they dropped 7 into coverage and we still had ample opportunities to win that game. We were undisciplined and got screwed a little by bad refs but we still had a chance to win that game. Saw on twitter Bruce Arians talking crap too. They won so they can do and say what they want but i think Bruce Arians is gonna regret being so cocky along with the rest of that team. They don't know what its like playing a full season with a mark on their back. Hope we see them again and I hope Andy grows a pair and we run up the score on them.

If Reid and crew give a good grade to anyone on that line other than Allegretti then Veach has to seperate himself from his mentor and address the position. Trotting Reiter and Wylie back out next year is a fireable offense even for Reid. If Mahomes has time we win over 90% of our games. Get it fixed!

Screw Patrick Peterson. Any guy caught mutliple times for PED at his age is done. Stick a fork in him. I'd rather let Veach and Madison find another gem in the draft or bring our guys back for one more year. If we are going FA shopping then we need a big fattie and a #2 or #3 wr.

Even with all the bull crap penalties our secondary minus Sorensen and the LB's in coverage were not the problem. Again Hardman doesn't line up offside and Andy doesn't call that TO this is a 10-6 halftime game. 10-9 after our first possession. We are not only in the game they can't turtle up on O. Get the Oline fixed and we don't get shut out like that and get a pass rusher and they can't catch up. I truly believe we win that game with Eric Fisher. To much shuffling on the Oline.

If Veach misses on another 2nd round pick....I think he needs to reevaluate his strategy on draft day. That is a lot of 2nd round picks that haven't helped this team like what they should. My only concern is his mental capacity. Can he process fast enough, because we all know he is physically gifted.

Everyone talks about the Bucs blue print to beat us. Credit to Bowles for the game play for sure. But to beat us like the Bucs did a team will need a defense as good or better, with a loaded offense that is balanced and then we need to trot out Remmers, Allegretti, Reiter, Wis, and Wylie out to start the year on the oline. Then we need Hardman to line offsides and Andy Reid to call the worst timeout of his career before half. People act like the Bucs figured something out about us.........they were a good defense who feasted on the worst oline in SB history and benefited from bone headed undisciplined plays that normally don't happen. If our Oline gets fixed like it should I believer Mahomes will tear through the NFL next year like a hot knife through butter. Bucs better hope we don't get that Oline fixed.

I totally agree that neither played up to their contract this year and while I do believe the refs screwed us, I don’t like players say that to the media. Especially the guy who couldn’t keep his cool. They played him like a chump. I just think the best solution is adding at this point in time. I love Franks attitude just not so much his production. I think Chris is mentally soft but he can do what few in this league can. Kinda stuck at the moment.

This is starting to get annoying. It’s not Andy’s job to slow up. We don’t put the fear of god in teams because we let up. The mental side of the game is huge and I wish we would pile it on more often.

True but there is a couple moves that could make a lot of cap space. I agree we won’t be spending like crazy but I do look for one larger fa signing to either play OL, WR, DB, or DE. Or a couple mid tier guys to play those positions. That would free up the draft to go bpa. This year will be lean for this mid tier guys because of the cap so why not come here and play for a contender for a one year deal. We saw it happen last year with a lot of vet min deals....no reason it won’t continue this year.

While Jones penalty hurt it didn’t kill us. Clark played well early on and then when they had a big lead they ran big personnel and took advantage of our linebackers because they had the lead and there weren’t any opportunities for thise guys to make huge plays. As to your question. CJ is very tradable but Frank is not. We are stuck with him for 2 more years. Best way to get the most out of them is put someone who can pressure opposite Clark. You win in this league by generating pressure and our offense normally puts pressure on other teams to score and pass. The boneheaded decision of Hardman, Reid and the bad refs put our defense in a ridiculous hole. 10-9 with half the 3rd to play is anyone’s ball game. Two idiotic plays (offsides and that TO). Sure the refs screwed us but those two plays we brought on ourself and cost us the most.
