  1. That was someone's time table but if its an achilles tear it could easily be closer to a year. Everything I found on the recovery time was 10-11 months but somewhere someone said he could be back by TC. Time will tell.
  2. This is normally true but on t last year of his deal in which he won’t play much of it and he is a cut candidate it is an option. But he doesn’t have trade value so you are right that it’s not an option.
  3. All this talk about running two TE in KC is a little silly because unless you have Kelce 2.0 its better to find a wr with better wiggle and ability to generate seperation, but the Ravens are the perfect team for that. Their run first mentality makes it an advantage and yes if they had Waller they would be a nightmare even with LJ throwing the rock. I look for the Ravens to invest in a top end wr similar to how the Bills did it to help LJ out.
  4. Blessing in disguise. He doesn't step offsides win win that SB and probably retain Sutton and Ford........That's a hard pass for me!
  5. Hard to not want to be a part of either in whatever capacity.
  6. All y’all are worried about Kafka but Andy has done this many times. I would have liked those picks but we are returning the entire offensive staff. That’s a big time win and if we win next Sunday we could do something truly historic and attempt a three peat in the NFL and go down as the greatest if not one of the greatest teams of all time. Someone will wait for EB if that happens, because half the coaches hired this year over him will be on the hot seat next year.
  7. As crazy as it sounds I think I would rather try out Baltos idea of trying to sign Trent Brown to a one year deal.
  8. He shouldn't have to do that. I mean D. Culley coached wr's for a team who set a record for 0 wr TD's in an entire season and coached a team that lost because they couldn't throw the ball. Not saying he shouldn't get his shot, but EB has done far more than that. Wouldn't surprise me if Watson didn't warn EB that he wanted out regardless if EB got hired. If I was EB I wouldn't want that job. Overcap, no picks and star qb is forcing himself out.
  9. Such an important hit too! We go into next year with a very good young CB which allows us to focus on other areas more important. He is gonna be a stud!
  10. That’s great news! Even if he missed September that’s still enough of the season to warrant keeping him. If we address the rest of the Oline then one position can be worked around until he’s fully healthy. With the Prince Kid, Rankin, Niang, Durant, and Allegretti there seems to be some younger talent on this team that could be productive.
  11. It’s possible! Found it interesting on Charles Rob and Terez Paylor’s podcast how Charles kept alluding to this game as the Bills next step game similar to us vs the Pats two years ago. I was kinda shocked both went along with it. Um we were an offsides away or a coin toss away from winning that. The Bills were spotted 9 points and never caught their breath again. They came in drinking the media koolaid about themselves and we sent them packing. Those two games are the farthest thing from each other. We left the Pats game knowing we were the better team, the Bills left know they got a lot of work to do to get to our level. Back to your point, I think it could be a little of both.
  12. 4. Extend him one more year and pay him what his cut cost is (~3.75 million) for 2021 and then whatever he was going to make in 2021 in 2022. I just have a hard time seeing Veach and Reid do that to Fisher. I think the best move overall is probably cutting him but cutting a guy after an injury like that seems pretty harsh for this team. Seems like a family environment and he was a big part of it for so long. Plus if he doesn't recover after 2021 then you can cut him but leave the option for another year. Gonna cost you the same either way next year....I vote for the better optics.
  13. I think it's very likely we grab 2 OL, WR and DE in the draft along with some depth. This oline as bad as it's been this year can get fixed in a hurry. We have some pieces to use already on this team.
  14. Would love to see him next to Landon Dickerson.....dudes be nasty!
  15. That and 2 total missed games and a couple games at 60%. But I understand what your getting at.
  16. LDT is back and we can only hope that he becomes depth. We can't cut him without eating his entire contract so best to just hope a young guy can beat him out. But i too was glad when he opted out and thought we got immensely better grabbing Osemele.
  17. Out of emojis, but I agree. Stinks too because that extra 3rd this year and next would go a long way towards fixing some depth holes we have. Oh well...keeping the band together for another year isn't a bad thing either.
  18. First the first time this year I felt that he was way overpaid and not producing enough to warrant half his contract. 4 sacks when your paid like the top 3-4 DE's in the league is brutal. I love the way he plays the run and he is a complete DE but those sacks and lack of regualr season pressures are hard to swallow. Again, I only started feeling that way this year. I love how he has balled out in the playoffs and that alone makes his contract worth it. The one area that gets over looked in all of this is his attitude. He along with HB changed the culture here and that cannot be overstated. I felt, before Fisher went down with an 11 month injury, that DE was the most important position could elevate our D to top 5 status. Clark is a great overall player but he needs a running mate opposite side. (Yes I know we need line help but in reality, before Fisher, drafting a center, getting Niang, LDT, Rankins, Allegretti and Fisher back would be enough of an upgrade). Obviously now LT is the most important position. Clark needs a running mate opposite him that can generate some pressure so they can feed off each other.
  19. Consistency, coaching, leadership and players buying create an atmosphere that produces and gets the most out of players abilities. Our D does more with less than just about any other NFL defense. There aren’t 2-3 first rounders on the dline or secondary. We are drafting well outside a few 2nd round reaches and making up for it with late round and udfa gems. We get them in and HB, Hitch, and Frank maintain the attitude and order and these young guys are stepping up big time. We are going to be better next year on that side of the ball....let that sink in. Spags, Daly, House, and Madison are killing it!
  20. Did their LT go out with an injury? Did the Bucs create pressure? So did Aaron lose that game because of his wrs or because his OL failed? I do understand what you are saying and we always need to add weapons but this off-season we need OL first. We played over half the season and both playoff games without Sammy and did fine. Would we have done better with Schwartz and Osemele playing every game or Watkins? My point is this team already has two HOF receives and while adding another is always nice the value isn’t there. We drafted a RB that looks like a little above avg because our Oline is garbage. We are destroying people and we are one dimensional. Upgrade the OL which gives Mahomes more time to make plays, gives Andy an actually running game when needed and adds another level to this offense. If we didn’t have Hill or Kelce I can see adding a wr over a OL but this off-season we should fix the OL first and then draft a wr latter to develop.
  21. I think WR is an important position that needs to be addressed sooner than later because the complexity of this O, but I agree that DE, IOL, and now OT trump WR currently. But if EB gets hired we will have 4 picks in the first 3 rounds and two 4s and two 5s. So we can get a DE, IOL, OT and WR in the first 3 rounds and even move up in the third to get one with those 4th rounders. Hardman is at best a 3rd option (an important one because of his speed and keeping defenses honest) so we need a smooth route runner to compliment Kelce and Hill but I don’t think we can draft that until the 3rd. Upgrading that line with what you listed though would be good enough to win but one injury would kill so we need a wr just not in the first two rounds.
  22. I hope no one miss understood my OP. I like Fisher and have stated many times that he would be back because he is good and that is good enough for this team. My question was the longevity or lack thereof of the his contract and the time table of his injury. It’s a double whammy because it creates a hole next year and more importantly it create issues for the Super Bowl. At this point is there any other option but to cut him? Or do you extend him a year and make next year the 3.5 million it’s already gonna cost you to cut him and pay him in 2022 what he would have made this year? Seems like it would be more classy that way. I think someone like Alex Leatherwood could hold down LT for a year. Truth be told, upgrading center and one guard spot then allowing Allegretti/LDT/Rankins to fight for the other spot and depth. Hate the injury for Fisher. He took a lot of crap early on and made something out of his career!
  23. It's possible because I can't the Chiefs rolling into 2021 with two rookie bookends. On a one year deal it would be nice to have a stud LT...but knowing our luck with injuries he would end up having an injury like Osemele.
  24. Sam Madison is a db whisperer. Dude has these guys playing out of their minds.
  25. Cap being reduced to 180 million will make it hard for him to net a big contract. He could still come back for a reasonable amount.
