  1. Just rewatched it, the lb or dl fell down in front of kelce and jumped back up to get their hands on it. It was rare poor decision by Mahomes. CEH was wide open in the flat.
  2. The dlineman was on the ground and jumped back up to get their hands on it. Not OL's fault on that play. Poor decision by Mahomes.
  3. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better all around back as the 3rd RB D. Williams) Dude is a stud in pass pro, has soft hands and is a straight line bigger back. What does Lynch even have in the tank.
  4. If we hadn't signed L. Bell and we had an injury sure why not, but he doesn't fit on this team with this Oline.
  5. Yeah I always remember Scott Rolen sprinting around the bases when he hit a home run. Loved it! I know its baseball but I like the idea of act like you been there.
  6. It is malleable because up until this year you always have cap years that grow from year to year and how you structure the contracts. With a massive cap shrink that has the potential to cripple you if you have a couple Berry/Houston deals that don’t work out. But I think Veach will navigate us through just fine. This extra picks really help us at the perfect time.
  7. How the Chiefs can get Under $175 Million in Salary Cap Hits in 2021 Whoever wrote that article doesn't know what they are talking about. We have 36 players under contract next year. We are stuck with Frank Clark, LDT, and Hitchens. Damien Williams, Chad Henne, and Schwartz could save you 10 million give or take. Restructuring HB could also help. What I think saves us is if the cap drops to 176 million we could possibly find some free agents on one year deals more than normal hoping to cash in on the windfall in 2022. So maybe we could fill some holes with some FA wanting a chance for a ring (I know we alreayd enjoy that benefit but I think this could happen even more). 8 draft picks in the first 5 rounds also helps. Plus guys like Ward, Pringle and Darrel Williams could be RFA tendered. Veach will have to work some magic but if he does that could really open things up for us in 2022.
  8. What I think is impressive about Kelce is he's got great numbers and we have never force fed him the ball like we did TG. TG on the other hand was mugged and made tough catch after tough catch. Looking at TG's numbers though, the longevity is just incredible. I don't think Kelce can play long enough to get there. He would need 5-6 years like this year to get close..... I can see 2-3 more. Y'all are right though we need to develop someone behind him, just not sure if this draft is the one to do it.
  9. Every team clowns their opponent. Drew Lock was clowning after he threw a TD. Back flip is more showing off than clowning....shoot the dueces are more clowning the opponent than that backflip. With that said the backflip has no positives and is one sprained knee or ankle from being a disaster.
  10. I think we only have 36 on the books for next year and with those we are quite a bit over if the cap is 176. Again I think they keep it as for 2021 and 2022 then increase it after that. If they do drop it to 176 then I think we would have to think long and hard about drafting a LT in the first and rolling with Niang at RT. Getting rid of Schwartz and Fisher would save us nearly 20 million. Then maybe draft a OC in the 2nd. We are stuck with Clark and Hitchens through 2022 and the only flexibility is restricting HB. Thankfully we will have like 8-9 draft picks to fill holes on this team.
  11. Yeah I don’t think he is a bust but I’ll disagree on his routes. There is a reason he wasn’t producing a lot during Watkins absence. And while I think it can be tough to learn Andy’s system, Watkins came in during one offseason and learned them all. I remember Andy saying they were throwing the book at Watkins and he was getting it. This is back end of year two and he still runs sloppy routes. That’s not a great sign if this guy wants to be the #2. Also rumors of our interest in Henry Ruggs this year can’t be a great sign for the staffs confidence in him being a #2 any time soon
  12. If we draft wisely we have a chance to have a good line next year. I think Niang has the ability to be better than Remmers at RT and Remmers has been avg. we draft a stud OC and get Rankins healthy and maybe sign Wiz to a one year vet deal and while it would be the 2002-03 Oline it would be the best Mahones has probably had and we’ve seen what he can do with a crappy line.
  13. We really haven't. We score on deep plays a lot. The Broncos game we missed 3 TD's that none of which would have counted as RZ TD's. We are explosive and good but our IOL is so dang bad we struggle to gain one yard. I think its why Bell hasn't looked as good as he could have. A patient runner behind our OL is going to wait for a hole that will never open. Its better to burst through and get your 3-4 than try and wait for a better option. With that said if Schwartz can come back healthy and we can get Wiz and Rankins in the game we should be able to rectify that!
  14. Kpass and Hardman have not lived up to their billing. Kpass is decent depth at best on the DL. Doesn't play the run exceptionally well nor does he much of a pass rush. He was physical specimen that got way over drafted. Hardman is year 2 and still can't figure out how to run a crisp route tree. Talented but has to have gadget plays drawn up for him, can't just make plays in the normal flow of the offense. Thornhill was a great 2nd round pick,. Gay I think will be a great pick but we didn't much of anything out of his first year. I understand drafting guys with high ceiling but if they can't contribute early on then your getting 1-2 years out of a 4 year contract for a player that , at least now after the Mahomes & Jones contract, need to produce earlier on in the contract. Fortunately for us with this new EB coaching comp situation we should have 8 picks in the first 5 rounds (1,2,3,3,4,4,5,5). If we can nail this draft we could literally have a good chance of winning multiple SB's in a row. Whiff on this draft and we might be looking at an Aaron Rodgers trajectory of always having a chance but not quite having the players needed around him.
  15. They are losing 2 out of the 3 against the Bills, Colts, & Browns.
  16. Good point. If we are seeing this crap you know he is. I truly do believe they have a plan with Rankins and Wiz.
  17. The Steelers have Buffalo, Indy, and Cleveland for 3 of their final 4 games. They could easily lose 2 of those.
  18. Not sure what the warm ups were about but no he did not and boy did Reiter get abused tonight. The only thing that I can think of is Pat likes the way Reiter snaps it better? But dear lord does Reiter get blown up a lot.
  19. Did I miss read that they had Allegretti ranked like 9th out 34 ? Reiter and Wylie ranked in the top half of C's and RG's? Dudes got abused tonight.
  20. Sure I get that, but if they trust you enough to be on the field for those specific plays what is his excuse for running a bad route? Reminds me of basketball when the guy with the ball is in trouble you break to him instead of sliding back as the ball is passed. That always gives the D a chance to make a play. I guess I'm curious why this is still happening at the end of year 2 for Hardman.
  21. I mean lineman techniques and pass rush plans...sure I could see how that would take lots of experience and practice but how hard are outs when you are that fast. It's not like your a big slow possession receiver that really has to hone your craft. You have world class speed that scares db's and he's rounding off routes. I know this offseason was messed up but he's not a rookie. To me he almost falls into that 2nd round curse of ours. Uber talented raw guys that we take too early in the draft. Wasn't Terry McLaurin really fast too? I think he will be a very good 3rd option and is always dangerous but I wonder if he can ever be counted on to be a #1 or #2.
  22. I don't know how hard it is to learn routes but it seems like they can be learned with repitition. Who is he working out with in the offseason? I'd be finding out who Hill works with. His route running seems to be the only thing keeping him out of major targets ..
